Simple question: What games could Microsoft have shown to make it not a disappointment? No vague answers like "LOL THEY COULD'VE ANNOUNCED SOME GOOD GAMES". Please, specifics?

You seriously believe SONY fanboys could be statisfied with a MICROSOFT press conference? Just wonderin....
Only people disappointed are cows. MS's conference was amazing. I mean what did we get.
Great list of exclusives
Great new XBL features
Really awesome looking motion controls with impressive tech demos.
And the 360 is now a better media box than the PS3 with 1080p streaming, instant music playing, and everything else.
I was expecting more games that I'd never heard of before. They showed some awesome stuff, don't get me wrong, but hey Bungie making a new Halo, whodathunk... Still a pretty good conference though, and that Natal stuff is at least intriguing.supercubedude64
I knew ODST was coming out. Reach though.....I think I heard of that at some point in my life, but when they showed the demo I was like "Wow, now that Bungie isn't under MS they've got this brand new IP to show!!!!!!!!!!!". And then I heard Halo music :( I like Halo, but I was sooooo hoping for a brand new IP from one of the best dev teams out there.
Just haters and fanboys.... scared because they know that Sony and Ninty aren't gonna deliver the way MS just did...... anyone interested in tech should be wowed by the Natal Demo's that were shown. It was simply amazing!

I mean, I'm not really a fanboy, but I don't have a 360, and I personally found the show to be amazing. Though, to be honest, Halo:ODST doesn't really look intrigueing at all, but hopefully Reach will be really good. Forza looked good too, I like how you can put whatever you want on your car. Milo of course was a wow moment, and MGSRising was shocking...can't really say surprising, it was inevitable. But yes, very well done; this coming from a mainly Sony guy. (Though I do have a gaming PC.)
Splinter Cell looks sick.
I missed the MGS but I saw most of the conference and I dont see how it could disappoint except for Natal.

They're working on three games, two of which they've no unveiled. I wouldn't expect the third one to be a halo game. :)[QUOTE="Mr_Nordquist"][QUOTE="supercubedude64"]I was expecting more games that I'd never heard of before. I wasn't dissapointed, all in all, I think it was better than last E3 only they didn't have a megaton, only a miniton. But, I expected at least a new IP, seing rare new work, that Lionhead would be working on a new game not a WTF. Of the new games (not XBLA) announced only L4D2 was not already heavily rumoured/confirmed. Of some of the other only brief CG trailers where showned. All the talk abut XBL features and Eye Toy meets wii remotes doesn't interest me.
But in the end, where it matters, it was a good show. Because the games are what matters.
