AAA : 9.0-9.5

AA : 8.0-8.5

A : 7.0-7.5

It hasn't been rated AAA but that user is hyping it to get AA or higher or it to do well etc

It's a good point to make- ever since the Wii's launch, we've been hearing, "Well, nobody expected it to do so well, and it takes time to develop games, so you'll see it in a year or so."

Granted the Wii has been able to syphon off some ports that were originally only on PC/PS3/360, it's not that much.

Its the same for Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, FFXYZ. People can only say "They look promising" untill they are released.

All developers put there eggs in the 360/PS3 basket and did not back the Wii from day one. This has changed over the last several months as there is now a constant flow of upcoming games which are being announced unlike how it was orignally for the Wii! This was also the case for the DS in its 1st 2 years as no one supported it at 1st but over time Nintendo started getting more and more 3rd party support! Now look at how well the DS is doing with support.

1.Either they're sequels to some fantastic games(Fallout 3,RE5,Mercs 2,SF4,Far Cry 2, Tekken 6,Prince Of Persia)
OR
2. They're made by some amazing dev teams(Mirror's Edge)
OR
3. They've got amazing previews and won Best of E3 awards.(Dead Space, Pure)

On the other hand the Wii line up you posted is either a bunch of multiplats out of which most will be better on the PS3/360, or last gen ports, or worthless Wiiware games. There are like 5 Wii games coming up which are genuinely hype worthy, and they pale in comparison to the line up for PS3/360.

For a list of AAA third party support there are a lot of games that aren't AAA or arn't likely to get AAA on it...

I got a used copy of Lair yesterday... for cheap... poped it in... hated the controlls then downloaded the controll pack, and so far it's fun, even though it really is flawed.

Sure, the Wii has great third party games like No More Heroes and Zack and Wiki but for every one of those, there's about five more shovelware games clogging up the shelves like Anubis II and Kidz Sports.

At least all those "boring sequels" are actually worth playing. You can have your shovelware exclusives.

2. It shouldn't matter if a console has more first-party masterpieces than third-party ones. As a gamer, it should be celebrated that a developer like Nintendo has put out as many AAA titles as it has. The fact that it makes third-parties look worse in comparison is inevitable, and the fact that people say there's "no third party support" because of this comparison is simply silly.

At least you guys aren't saying those are bad games. Personally I don't care who makes great games for my console. I have a 360 and in all honesty I don't care who published Mass Effect. Its an awesome game and I play it. Some how theres a rumor that you can't play Nintendo games on a Wii so when Nintendo makes top rated games for the Wii (which can't be played), they've abandoned the concept of making good games and there are no good games.

Another rumor is that the average Wii owners has over 50 games, so they've already run through all the good games on the system.

compared to the vast amount of proven franchises/developers on the 360/ps3, yes. there's probably a big list on wikipedia or something but i'm too lazy to look it up.

I'm sorry, I played that game, and it was not good.......Gamespot LOVES to overrate the Ubi games it seems because this game, was more like a 7.0 and Assassin's Creed was vastly overrated too.
