No More Heroes says hi.

I'm sorry, I played that game, and it was not good.......Gamespot LOVES to overrate the Ubi games it seems because this game, was more like a 7.0 and Assassin's Creed was vastly overrated too.

That isn't a Ubisoft game. They only published it in the West. The game is actually by Grasshopper. Please get your facts straight before commenting on things you don't know about.

If we're using that logic, I didn't think any of the third party games on the 360/PS3 deserved AAA, so they don't count either. :|

I know it wasn't developed by Ubi....it's a Suda 51 game.

I'm just saying they were both published by Ubisoft. I never said developed by Ubisoft did I? NO....didn't think so

OK, you can do that.....but Wii 3rd party support is still pathetic at best.

You mean Wii isn't getting big name multiplats. Wii is cutting it's own little niche with "hardcore" gamers, I for one love that it's getting loads of different exclusives rather than , sequel, sequel, sequel, sequel, sequel, seriously, this gen is like the generation of the boring sequels.bobbetybob

the best wii games by far are sequels. There are like 3 new original new ips on wii that are worth anything. The 360 and ps3 have many new ips so far

So? He said the Wii has no AAA 3rd party games, and he was wrong. I was never suggesting that the Wii had a robust library of 3rd party games.

2 yrs later, the wii is suppose to be in the dirt. Funny how predictions works just like the OP list of "3-rd party" games (though) some are system exclusive. You made a list of supposed games that in your mind looks good and hopefully plays good. proably going to be disappointed in more than half of those games. The other half is not going to be AAA. Take a few months away from the forum, and still more the same.

Yeah and I keep changing my mind on whether or not I want to sell it. Right now my stance (although it's likely to change in like 5 minutes lol) is I'm going to sell it to save up for a PS3.

You are right then. Okay go home everybody, let the sheep enjoy their one third party AAA game... nothing to see here folks...

Victory for you? I think not...

It's a good thing I don't exclusively play 3rd party AAAs. ;)

LOL @ the sheep who's knocking this gen for its glut of sequels. Check the Wii's library....about the only thing worth playing is lackluster sequels to old school Nintendo games with little or no innovation. Nintendo must love you sheep. They're in their second generation of being able to live off of their name alone and you keep eating it up. I'd rather play sequels to newer IP's than play rehash of 20 year old franchises that consider crappy waggle controls to be innovation. This is coming from a Nintendo fan from the 8-bit days, and even I'm tired of their crap.

Okay, this bugs me. How is a game like Super Mario Galaxy rehashed more than something newer, like GTA, when 20 years ago the Mario games weren't even in the same dimension as SMG?

Seriously, just because the IP was around 20 years ago, doesn't mean the games were the same.

Mario Galaxy was a great game, but was it really innovative? It was a touched up Super Mario 64 with lackluster waggle controls tacked on. Nintendo makes great games, but what really changes? Mario Kart Wii was arguably a step backward. Mario Party is about as stale as a game can get. Zelda? More of the same. You want to bring up GTA? Fine. Did you play parts 1 and 2? They weren't "in the same dimension" either. Seriously, what has Nintendo done to evove their big franchises since the N64 days? Ruin Metroid by making it 3D? Yay.

i like how you dismiss Nintendo games for issues that apply to almost every franchise this gen...

The wii seems to be full of 7 games. They're okay. They're certainly not ... well, most of them .. well .. there are quite a few games out and coming up on the wii that don't look bad. But they certainly don't look great.

So what happens is is nintendo fanboys end up trying to hype mediocre titles because thats the best that seems to come out for the wii, despite titles like Super Mario Galaxy.

First a game is a game no one buys a Nintendo system expecting great third party games. I have never understood why this is so hard to understand.

Say what you like about past games with the year 3/4 of the year over the Wii and 360 have the same number of AAA+ games.
