People have been saying that since the Wii and let met tell you....

This is total HORSESH*T. Sorry to say sheep but yes, yes its is defined by power.Thats the CORE of a "new generation". New tech , better tech, MORE POWERFUL tech and overall better graphics.

Stop making excuses for Nintedno. They are indeed being cheap pieces of sh*t selling you retro ass hardware so they can make more cash from stupid people.

But its not working this time around now is it. The original Wii sold  a lot on a total FLUKE beacuse of a gimmick that  now everybody hates and market of casulas that will never get another console again but instead they will go for the iphones/ipads ect ect in in this day and age. The wii u is done.

Its a pice of retro trash  as far as I'm concerned and no one should get it (and no one does really so A+ to gamers on  that).

So yes a  generation is indeed defined by power and not dumbass f*cking gimmicks like a moronic cotroller with a huge screen that was stupid back wen it was announced it and is just as stupid right now (maybe even more).

Wii fluke saved Nintendo for a while.

I agree, it most definitely is. That's why the Wii got different games to the PS3/360 and why the Wii U gets the same games as the PS3/360. Next generation starts with the 720 or PS4, whichever comes first, we are still in the first HD generation, nintendo is just late to the party.

You need power to make the most amazing, innovative, inspiring games now and days.

Don't get me wrong Wii had some amazing games XenoBlades and what not. It takes a lott of creativity to stand up on a much less power machine and bring something thats so amazing no matter what, graphics, Ai or not.

Just imagine how much better Xenoblade would have been if it was built from the ground up on PS3 though.

No one would give two craps about the wii version because they would want the 4 times better PS3 version.
