Sony is NOT, NEVER was, NEVER did caught up with the whole Motion Sensing garbage, like MS did. Hence why the Move never was solely focused on. Their focus has always been the core gaming market, always has always been, simply because that's where Sony excels at. Sony acknowledges this which is why they always have a continuing relationship with developers.

MASSIVE ownage..the bandodger is going to be really butthurt now :cool:The light on the controller is not Move is to identify players while they log in.. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=515732 The only thing sony showed with the camera was a move demo, but move it self is not included, unlike KInect which the xbox 720 need even to launch a game.LOL. Right. Customers are just screaming to have a color coded light to show log-in. And multi-coloured health bars on the front of your controller pointed away from you is going to be an awesome advance over an onscreen healthbar. The enhanced 6 axis capability is just a coincidence. Another coincidence is that the new 3d eye can track the new DS4.[QUOTE="tormentos"][QUOTE="StrongDeadlift"]

The only thing they haven't said is whether the camera is being built in or will be a seperate accessory. Without the camera it is going to be motion sensing light. With the camera it is going to be move 2.0. And there will be the option of a seperate move controller.
I actually like this business strategy better than MS because we presumably wom't have to pay the cost of the camera in every unit. On the otherhand a built in kinect is going to be cheaper than buying a seperate move camera, so a lot may still depend on pricing.
But lets not kid ourselves that one is uber core and the other is uber casual. Sony is building some of the enabling technology into every system, they just have not gone whole hog and bundled the camera (that we know of yet).
Is not move it was stated move still work with this, the DS is not move maybe you have a link to prove it please share it.I didnt claim that, I read the article. I would wager that they know the true specs anyway, they just cant directly talk about them yet1: he proves he doesn't know nothing about next xbox
2: he says rumors specs that could be wrong or could be right and IF thats the case i hope MS goes back and reconsider that
3: Tc claims they went choose to go console excluive on ps4 because of rumors... SAD

 Please. Go watch the E3 press conference where they revealed the Move. They spent just as much time talking about it as Mircorosft did in 2009-2010. The only difference was, one of them was a successful commercial monster that outsold the Ipad launch, while the other one was a failure. That has more to do with the fact that like almost every endeavor Sony has attempted this generation they dont support it and send it out to die. It was a failed project just like the PSPGo, the Xperia Play, etc....
Thats the only reason Sony "doesnt focus on it" now ;)
Do you have a quota of how frequently to make an idiot out of yourself on a daily basis?""PS4: DualShock 4 is not a Move controller, says Sonys Michael Denny PS4 will be bundled with a dual camera bar that tracks Sonys new DualShock 4 controller, but dont get it mixed up with Move says Michael Denny, vice president of Sony Worldwide Studios Europe. [QUOTE="StrongDeadlift"] This. These idiots dont even realize that both systems are based off of the same technology. Both systems are using 8 AMD Jaguar cores, and GCN based GPUs based on 7970m. tormentosNon are base on 7970m... The xbox 720 GPU is 12CU with an 8core jaguar,8BG of DDR3 and 32MB of ESRAM. The PS4 is 18CU unified and enhance for computing purposes as well,8 core Jaguar,8GB of GDDR5. Now the GPU don't have the same power the PS4 one is stronger and from the same line, which mean the difference will be notice. The PS4 has a separate chip to handle the OS,the xbox 720 is say to use 2 cores for OS,that means the PS4 has more resources for graphics vs a console that already is under power. The 720 is say to have 3GB of ram reserve for OS and system, the PS4 is rumored to use only 512MB.. There are some serious differences between the 2 systems,if it end like this ^^^ the PS4 will walk over the 720 with ease.
You do not know what the Xbox is based on, outside of it being based on the same architecture in the PS4. AMD Jaguar and GNC (most likely both willl be GNC2)
The PS3 gpu IS based on a 7970m with two fewer CUs. The 7970m uses 20.
One of the PS4 rumors said that they removed 2 CUs from it.
And again you are being rediculous with the GDDR5 nonsense. GDDR5 is based on DDR3. It is modified DDR3 for higher bandwidth with a tradeoff of latency, and it is compatable with DDR3. For this reason, it is the easiest component in the system for Microsoft to upgrade. There is no fundamental change that needs to take place in the way games are programmed for them to switch it. It is not like the PS3's XDR and GDDR2 memory which require two different programming languages and are not compatable with eachother. You are a fool if you believe Mircorosft is not going to have it in their platform.

They have set them self a powertarget lower than the PS4 ever since the first rumored dev kits. If they make drastic changes like adding CU's to the GPU and changing the DDR3 to GDDR5, the costs will go up and the console will not come out until late 2014. And if we add they're Kinect 2.0 development priority, the X720 will be more expencive than the PS4 if they use the same hardware. I would guess that the easiest upgrade would be to add an own 1+GB of VRAM on the GPU. Also, they have known that the PS4 would have GDDR5 RAM for some time now, we would probably have seen some changes in dev kits about now if they were releasing a console this year with drasticly changed specs.[QUOTE="NineTailedGoku"]

The fact that ESRAM exist basically kill your argument, please show me links to the xbox 720 using GDDR5,the fact that GDDR5 is based on DDR3 doesn't mean they are compatible, else we would have a barrage of GDDR5 cards running as system memory on PC's every where. What if the 720 is weaker than the PS4? And what if its pike PS2 to XBOX? Would cow be hypocritcal and bash the 720 like its the weakest thing since pong?KaszillaHypocrital.? The xbox and the PS2 were not launch at the same time,so is not like MS beat sony head to head, they simple make a better machine that landed almost 2 years latter,20 months to be exact.
Marketing spin blah blah blah...but as I've said in several threads tonight...the biggest thing I liked about the Sony presser was that it was mostly about the games/game developers and social stuff directly related to games. Even at E3 2012, I thought Sony's presser was by far the most game centric, eventhough none of them were great. It seems to me that they figured out the key to sucess for PS4 is focusing on games and gamers.
MS is pushing this whole entertainment box/casual aspect and unless we see a complete 180 marketing wise, I'm sure the same will hold true for Durango.
[QUOTE="Tessellation"] its probably stripped down version for the console, remember that the xbox 360 OS is based on windows 2000 which used 64MB and If durango uses a stripped down version probably around 1GB(windows 8 uses 2GB for x64) + kinnect = 2GB and there isn't latest specs they are still the same ones from 2012, its just that VG Leaks divided them in different articles..tormentosI still think that it will be 2GB,it could be more if Kinect is a heavy hit, there are rumors about siri like stuff and other things as well,it may be it maybe be not. I also think the PS4 will use like 1GB or 1.5,and not the 512 rumored.
I would assume they would use a custom Windows 8 RT kernal, very low foot print at 512mb.
I know the Ps4 is more powerful, but I think the goal like the 360 was to be very competitive in power with a unique archtecture, and come in at a lower price. Kinect being included has to be expensive though, then again so is the DDR5 in the ps4.
