[QUOTE="organic_machine"] So yes, it IS physically possible for the Wii to be a primary gaming system. This thread is now over.

Yep, it is possible...it just takes A LOT of WORK...and an extreme love for Nintendo to make that happen. :)

if you call playing game work.......

Not for me it can't.... I'm sure many less enthusiastic gamers find it adequate though. Hopefully Nintendo's next gen machine will satisfy my inner gamer to a greater degree.

It is so long as you don't need variety and you only need a decent game once every three months...

Everyone has different gaming preferences, I'm sure gamers like Haziqonfire would be just fine with just a Wii and using it as their primary gaming system (though in times of gaming droughts on the Wii, I'm sure he finds that Xbox 360 very useful!). Could I use it as my primary gaming system? No way in hell.

Sure it can for those not caught up in the HD hype. Not saying one should because there are a few good exclusives on other systems, but not to the level that some posters claim here.

For me? No, not a chance in hell. I've had my Wii since launch and I've barely played it since about a month after SSBB came out.

For a casual gamer, sure. My cousin has one and even though there's a 360 right upstairs (which unofficially "belongs" to my other cousin since he got the Wii) and he plays on the Wii far more often.

*points to my sig as a reference to my following post* For this gen, I personally feel that the best thing for me is to eventually own all the consoles/handhelds. That way I can get the best of all worlds. If I only had a Wii, I'd be missing out on a LOT of gaming, and a lot of the variety I feel that this gen has when you combine all the consoles/handhelds together. With that being said, I'd still have more than enough fun games that I think I would definitely be able to manage if I only had a Wii. 64, possibly 125 games is a lot of games to play through in one gen, and while they may not be as much of a blockbuster-type game as some of the games on the other systems, and I'd be missing out on some of series and genres that the Wii lacks (which would be partially made up for by the VC), overall, I honestly think that I would be able to have a Wii as my primary console with very few complaints.
