Dead Rising, it's actually the only game that makes me wish I had a 360, yet I'm kind of over it now, played it loads at friends houses.

And yet to be released, who knows, there are games not even announced/we have hardly any info on that could kick ass, like Sadness, Timesplitters 4, and some games from last gen franchises that don't have a sequel yet.

Ohh yea, how could I forget the game that brought me back from the brink off, "Just what the fark did I buy a X360 for? To play games like PD 0 and DOA 4?!?!?! WTF was i thinking?"

Yea, DR should be up there on the "Game of the Generation" list because the idea, the execution and core gameplay is something totally refreshing and new. The only thing that's gonna bring it down would be some of its concepts like its save feature, which is annoying to say the least!

Great list TC, i agree. Especially about CoD4, it is a triumph of the FPS genre, amazing on PC particularly.

When it comes to yet-to-be-releashed games, I'm not sure anyone should mention the next Zelda...yet, because there was a story about how Miyamoto wanted to casualize the next Zelda.

On the innovation front, Wii Sports and Rock Band take it.
On the quality side, GTAIV, Gears of War, Brawl and Mario Galaxy qualify.
Saleswise, Halo 3 is top dog for now.

Future games... Spore, LBP, Wii Fit and Starcraft II will make huge impacts on the industry.

Sorry, Im completely wasted right now, I've had around 12 beers, AgentA-Mi6

Light Weight!!! You need to learn to handle your liquor :P

I think that Portal will be remembered for years to come, and the meme "The Cake is a Lie" will still be used long into the future, even after Portal 2 is released.

He wants to reinvent Zelda. He said, "Twilight Princess is the last time you'll see a Zelda game of this sty1e," or something like that.

In no particular order (I know basically all of these have been named in earlier posts probably): Bioshock, Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Rock Band, GTA 4; Future: FFXIII, MGS4, Little Big Planet, Gears of War 2

I am a massive DR fan but I get the feeling that it is more of a cult hit then a generation defining game.

It is a very large cult, but none the less, a forgotten game in many regards.

That is one game that I would kill for a sequel too.
