Yes of course that was the reason why it was delayed and of course rockstar have been saying non-stop that there having problems with the ps3. It couldn't be because rockstar can't fit gta on the disk, or the lack of a hard drive on all xbox 360's limiting there ability to stream textures. Equally there is a chance that the ps3 is having problems however the most likely reason for the delay is rockstar are having problems with both systems.

this is bad lol. ps3 had trouble being considered a gaming console but now its affecting actual gaming consoles. its now officially a gaming hindrance.
i guess rockstar are under some contract stating that both versions of the game must release close to each other or something. this is good news anyway..since now they can work on the ps3 ver while fixing any bugs that might have been overlooked in the 360 ver
i already knew this a long time ago read in a magazine. rockstar made agruements with sony that they wud release the game at the same time, thats why xbox360 was held back....damn ps3
I agree with Colonel Mustard. Obviously he either 1) secretly works for R*(probably true) or 2) has inside intel on the GTAIV project. I mean seriously, who are you going to believe, a guy who obviously knows what he's talking about or
That quote is mostly crap but then again hundreds of journalists played it on 360 back in the spring at E3 and we saw hundreds of 360 screenshots and more than a few gameplay impressions in the weeks following E3.
My guess is it had tech issues on both systems even then but that the PS3 was further behind (even to the point of being unshowable).

Too bad it's completely false, There is no way R* would hold back one version for another, and there isn't any way this "mustard" guy knows what is going on in R*. I will wait to hear something from rockstar before I believe it.
