If you wanted to be so naive to bring that up I could point out to you how ANYTHING represented on a screen is in fact something 2D, thats gives an illusion of 3D. (even photographs n00b)

Because FACT is NOTHING is truly 3D except for real world items.

I believe their were 4 R&C games on the PS2 and now one on the PS3 and one on the PSP.

You do realize they created Resistance FOM. They made a new IP before returning to R&C.

And I don't get why you bring up Jak and Daxter. Thats a Naughty Dog game, who also made a new IP, Uncharted Drakes Fortune.

Why can't one of their new IP's be as cool as Mario Galaxy? Instead its stuff that doesn't interest me in the least and I love weird niche titles! Or when they do create something neat..like project hammer..it gets canceled..and replaced with Wiifit or some other crappy new idea. I guess its too much to ask for new IP's to be cool? I want to visit other worlds, I wanna be different cool characters in those worlds, instead...I'm doing chores for money...or replaying lemmings? Gimme a break. Video games are an escapist fantasy. Be something you can't be in the real world. Go where you can't as you work 5 days a week.Those games offer no such thrill.

As for the fanboy comment, I'll let that one go, I'll just go home and play each one of my consoles for about an hour each and then laugh at the guy who thought I was a fanboy.

Yeah laugh all you want, but when someone passes off their opinion as fact, its usuallya fanboy. But you were a bit clearer with your last post, and guess what? Nintendo isnt just their to serve you. Pikmin and Animal Crossing are in general considered to begreat games. And just because you dont like em. Does not mean Nintendo cant come up with good new IPs.

He's never looked at the competition. He keeps himself pure that way. Did he try to fill Mario full of 'tude and get him in shape? Of course he didn't, he sent him back in time to meet Yoshi and defeat Kamek! If anything, the competition looks at Miyamoto.

Again, has he ever paid attention to the competition? He does not EVER DO SO, for doing so would taint his games. He stays true to his principles and defines the industry. Besides, Insomniac did not do the idea first. Ever hear of Yoshi's Island? That had spherical worlds too, you know. So did Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
