Old news. And false... Its gotta be, a System that no one knows is coming out won't sell much, imagine you walk down the highstreet and see "PS4 available here now!" a lot of people don't have the luxury to sit and keep up to date with gaming unless they see it on TV or in a store. Its totally false they'd be having press conferences and shows and interviews all over the place if they were making them this year.

PS3Anorexia? On topic i doubt this is true. Won't see ps4 till 2013. If anything i'd say they are just stocking up on generic parts so when the time comes they have it all sitting ready with no delays, look at PS3 one year late and it knocked back everything from games to sales. They don't want that to happen again so they'll try and get what they can now so when the final design is finished dam... the machines are up and running.
Lol Sony Rumors are actually always right. For some reason they can never keep anything under wraps. I call this rumor, approved.

yeah it seems that way to me as well. I imagine that if it really is true that this system may launch in end of 2012 or sometime in 2013. Chances are good it will be shown off perhaps at Tokyo Game Show at the very - crazy - earliest, or until E3. Or perhaps some separate event they could do as well.
A 2012 fall release is likely. Sony will probably want to get the jump on MS since having the 360 releasing before ps3 worked so well for MS. themyth01
That's not what worked so well for MS. What worked so well for MS was Sony releasing the PS3 at $600. If the PS3 had launched at $300, it would have no only owned the 360 in sales, but the Wii as well. Too bad for Sony they got too arrogant for their own good and it cost them dearly this gen because of it.
Producing it to be TESTED. It's not like all of sudden making millions of them ready for launch. To those who said it is false, please give source confirmation.

Yea, Sony shooting itself on the foot helped as well, but we have to think of it from Sony's perspective. Sony hasn't been the type of company ran by people who think that when things don't go right, it might have been due to them.
