Am I the only one getting a bit tired of hearing people (female dog) about wii games only to ask which games are good? If lems and cows are so sure that the wii library is so terrible, why don't they know anything about the current and upcoming games. It's not my job or anyone elses to do research for you.

If you're so sure wii games are terrible and that no good wii games are coming, can you please tell me what is wrong with each of these games individually in detail.

I mean if you're sure enough to call them terrible or to say you have no intrest in them, you must know why? Right?

Too many Lemmings and Cows diss games they know nothing about. Honestly, Wii games seem to have a different nature than the ones on PS3 and 360, and I guess they don't like that.

I, for one, think that the 2008 Wii line-up is better than the 360 and PS3 line-up. There's a lot of original titles I'm looking forward to that will put the Wii Remote to good use.

But haters will be haters.

I find it kind of rich that some cows have the nerve to treat sheep the way they were treated by lemmings.

That being said, I recognize that Wii has some very good games if you look for them. But overall, the pickings are somewhat slim. Still, I'm getting my Wii (in a couple of weeks) because of SMG, which I feel, by watching huge chunks of the game, is the most gameplay-centric and flawless game of the generation.

I don't see what's the big deal with Lost Winds though. Looks shallow as hell.

Mario Kart---though I'm not interested---seems the best as far as far as multiplayer goes. I hear its online portion is pretty compelling.

Oh, and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz was very fun for a launch title.

Honestly, though, Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 is not a very good game if you are used to high quality FPSs on the PC. I'll be honest here: Wii does lack in the FPS genre, but it doesn't bother me much. I don't really like FPSs that much, and only started to play them on March 23, 2008.

Read my review if you want to know why I think MoH: Heroes 2 is unimpressive. Could've used a lot of work. That's for sure.

Most of the other games you listed are awesome, though.

Yeah, great post! I think that it's annoying that so many complain about Wii, as well. I think that Wii has a lot of GREAT games. :D

Like I said before, Mario Kart has a complelling online portion.

PS3, while it has a more even/balanced library than the Wii, is certainly not some vista of excellent content. It needs alot of work too.

Yeah, that doesn't make sense.

A handheld would hold back games like Metroid 3 and Mario Galaxy.

But I do have to say that the DS is the master of its trade in the way that the Wii is not. I think the DS dominates the PSP.

yes, but honestly the mario kart for the wii for me was one of the worst, the ds one blows it away and every other one does too, besides it is a bit more crazy* which is bad because i was playing with a friend (brought it over) and the items given to those in last is too much in this one.

It's not that they're literally saying 'there are no good games on the Wii'. They're more saying, 'There are no games on the Wii that I am interested in'. The games on the Wii are targetting an audience which isn't very common on this forum. That's why you hear this all the time.

Sorry, but I own at least 10 Wii games. I've only enjoyed 3 or 4 of them. I could have done without ALL of them. That's an experience I'm not used to, to be frank.

The only Wii games I've played that I really enjoyed this gen are Galaxy and Prime 3. Even if I include Brawl, my reality is that it's simply not where the Wii should have been. And I can't name a single 3rd party game that I've been excited about. Wii succeeds in sales...fails in game selection relative to the compeition.

Brawl and then Mario Kart Wii. Whether you were disappointed or not, Nintendo delivered its biggest core games pretty quickly in the Wii life cycle.

We already know that more is to come. A new Zelda and Pikmin 3 are just the tip of the ice berg.

If I'm expected to enjoy a console that I will only buy a couple games per year on when I'm having the time of my gaming life on PC/360/PS3, you've got another thing coming.

Wii is disappointing in the same way the GameCube disappointed: no games other than than those made by Nintendo worth mentioning.

My biggest gripe with the Wii is that it is too much of a "lite" experience.

If there was more stuff like Galaxy on it, I would be completely sold though. That game is a full, deep experience.

That being said, as I mentioned before, I am getting one as a secondary console. But I couldn't imagine having it as a primary console.

Maybe your reality. I think that both of those games are amazing. So, just because you and some others aren't happy doesn't mean that Nintendo has failed to release a lot of its core games.

Third party support is improving, and it's not Nintendo's fault if third parties don't want to spend the time to make high quality games for Wii. The console is selling very well, so what excuse do third parties have now?

How am I supposed to explain to you why the Wii lineup is not interesting TO ME in a way that will mean something TO YOU? Apparently, you're in love with it. Enjoy yourself.

For me? I'd get my money back for Brawl and Mario Kart if I could. I've only enjoyed:

-Prime 3 (except for that ending)

-Galaxy

-No More Heroes (but only to a certain degree...I wanted to stab my eyes out)

-Some of the WiiWare releases.

Wii is just technologically stuck in the past with its poorly designed and even more poorly implemented online solution, lastGen graphics and still gimicky control scheme. 3rd parties STILL don't take it seriously, as shown by the quality of software they're releasing on the platform.

For yet another generation, only Nintendo is taking the Nintendo console seriously. I'm sure that's okay with people who only owned a GameCube lastGen...but for those of us that owned PS2's and Xboxes as well, we understand there is a higher, more entertaining level of gaming that can be had.

I think that's it. I'm selling this Wii.

Sorry, but Prime 3's ending was ABJECT failure. and Twilight Princess was certainly not one of the best Zelda games I've played.

They were great games, but were disappointments given their nextGen status and supposedly more powerful hardware. They lacked any meaningful innnovation or creativity relative to their predecessors.

If that doesn't disappoint you...well...I wouldn't expect a Sheep to suggest anything Nintendo did was poor. I'm sure you also loved their E3 conference. :lol:

Just because better is avaible doesn't make past graphics unstandable...

for cell shaded graphics, NMH looked pretty crappy honestly. Suda could have done MUCH better
