played Motorstorm on ps3 liked it for a bit, than got really bored and switched on to WII Sports with mates. Wii has been more enjoyable simply because of the wiimote.
MGS2 wowed me more than any next gen game has even came close to doing...hell it still does. Until another game gives me the same "wow" effect that I got after playing MGS2, im not impressed.
My friend got his 360 a month after release, and the first game I saw him play was Oblivion... when he first stepped out of the first dungeon and onto the landscape, I was completely blown away.
And just for kicks I'll add last generation too. After having my N64 for a few years and drooling over Halo for months, I finally sat down with Halo and my new Xbox on Christmas morning, and the graphics blew me away. I couldn't believe they were real :P
Nothing this generation has made me go "WOW!" The last console game to impress me with graphics was Soul Calibur and the last PC game was the original Unreal. In my mind, 1998-2001 was really one of the last golden ages of gaming.
These days I care more about how fun a game is than how it looks, but what's fun for me is not necessarily fun for others.

I still remember the first time I played unreal, one of my first PC games, such a masterpiece.
My first WOW moment was when I downloaded the Fight Night 3 demo from XBL marketplace. I played the demo for like 4 hours. Since then only Gears has made me appreciate that the next gen of gaming had started.
The legend of zelda: twilight princess. Wow, motion sensing, I thought it would never be possible. I am so used to my Keyboard and Mouse. When I played it, it blew me away.
