But I am more excited about Rage than any other shooter.

I find it more appealing, visually speaking. The fact that it runs at 60fps is a huuuge plus.

Hmm first thing I have seen of Rage. From what I have seen it doesnt seem to be too impressive graphics wise. Ill admit it does have some incredible models and textures and is quite detailed, but it doesnt seem to have the effects that other games are coming out with. And when I say it isnt impressive im not saying that it is bad, they are still very good, definately up in the top 5 i have seen for console, just doesnt seem to be up with what people have been hyping it with.Iantheone

I agree, it loos fantastic. The artstyle is also great!

I thought even Gears of war 3 looked better than Rage, not to mention KZ3 or Crysis 2. Doom 4 will be the best showcase of id tech 5. 60fps is just hurting too much, no object motion blur, no dynamic lighting, lack of impressive particle effect, desctructible environment, etc. I just don't see Rage as a top graphical contender though it's pretty for what it's worth.

Neither does KZ3 have destructible environments,its all scripted and it can be done in ANY GAME.As matter of fact it is done in RAGE,behind closed doors they were shown a part where WHOLE city is falling apart,same like that oil rafinieries in KZ3 when you gun them down,scripted.But i do agree that 60 fps is just to much if you want graphics crown but i sense Doom 4 could pull that one.

but Rage is a bigger achievement at least until we see more from Crysis 2
