Probably is. Although the score, in contrast, isn't as bad as many think it was the sheer idea that Zelda could do no wrong that made it all that more interesting.

I remember having a lil' conversation with someone here about how funny it'll be if Zelda flops the day before the review. I did think it was funny then... Boy was I wrong. :(

Im a cow, but yesterday was hands down the most entertaining day ive had on system wars. The best days are the ones which are followed by account suicides. I wish i had been here when zelda flopped. Strangely there was a lot of sympathy threads yesterday when the review broke, but it seems back to normal again today.

I also wish Mass effect/SMG flop so we have another day like yesterday. I hope its the latter, because if the sheep are bitten a third time, all hell will break loose!!!

Wasn't nearly as big a deal. Crackdown only got AA hype and there was no expectation for AAA, as I recall. And many people enjoyed and continue to enjoy Crackdown.

None of those were major point of teh floppage, from what I can recall.

When Fable 2 flopped (8.6), that was legendary, I still love that game though,

When JE flopped 8.3, after getting a 9.9 on IGN (thats right kind of like something that just happened here yesterday...)

TP was insane too.

I think when Zelda flopped was the most insain, not only were sheep hyping this to be GotY and 9.5+ but it didn't even get AAA here... damn

Well, for as long as I have been posting on System Wars, BY FAR the greatest and most hilarious catastrophies have involved the PS3. I wouldn't say that I was "obsessed." Other than 8.8 (Zelda) and 9.6 (Gears), all of the hilarious things that have happened have involved the PS3 or its games. It's true, it's true. Face it, dude.

The SW pre Sony conference dance party (Sony started 20 mins late and played a lot of crap music)

The 499 & 599 price points of the PS3

The revelation that Giant Crabs really existed back in the day

In one night all of the chest beating and bragging that the cows were doing for months in SW was crushed by a really lame Sony conference. That was awesomness in it's purest form.

-The Twilight Princess Flop Aftermath

-Any day with Gingerdivid back in the day:lol:.

The biggest had to be ZeldaTP flopping that was a big shock. Other ones that were up there was DMC going to the 360, Halo 3 getting 9.5 after having a million its going to flopposts, pick any of the big PS3 games flopping (how about the one today), or if Drake doesnt get AAA the one year aniversry of the PS3 and not ONE AAA exclusive.

Actually I love the damage control any time the 360 gets a AAA game. Halo 3 - overrated, Gears of War - overrated, Forza 2- overrated (GT 5 is better anyway, even though it is not out yet), Mass Effect - overrated and will flop (even though most cows have never had the joy of playing a Bioware game), Oblivion - Overrated (then when they get it a year latter it is the best game ever and the graphics are better anyway).

My other favorite day was when HS only got AA status as was docked point for only being a 7 hour game after cow had beeten Gears of War to death for almost a year for only being 8 to 10 hours long. Especially after Sony had sold them the bill of goods that blu ray was needed to make games longer and fit one one disk. :lol:

Other than RROD (which did not happen on a single day, not causing mass hysteria on SW), and a few minor flops for games on other systems, there really isn't that much bad to say about other consoles. Most all of the hilarious stuff involved the PS3, whether you are a PS3 fan or not.

ah, yes! I was here for that! That was great too! Lots of WTF-ness on SW that day. Still, I have never seen as many accusations of conspiracy, threads being locked, or threatened account suicides as yesterday. That is why yesterday was so great- it's not even that the game flopped all that hard (hyped AA, got A, big deal), it's the Cow hysteria that was on display yesterday.

LOL. I saw some of that too. Usually a game flop wouldn't be so awesome, but the Cows themselves made yesterday epic, not the game flop. Heck, if I had a PS3, I would probably still get R&C- and I had imagined that it would get AA at best.
