1. SNES - each of Nintendo's landmark titles had their best games on this system... plus it's home to more classics than I can count... 2. N64 - I think this is what really got 3D going, not the PS1. With Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Goldeneye, and others, this was a great system to launch the whole 3D thing. 3. NES - Pretty much started the whole gaming on consoles (at least it got it to where it is today) and I can't help but think that gaming wouldn't be quite as good or the same without it. 4. GC - The Metroid titles were gems, Mario was meh, Zelda was okay, and third party support was a little lacking. The GC is easily Nintendo's worst console, leaving lots of improvement for the Wii.

Anyone who doesnt have the SNES at #1 is a fool and their opinion is void. That console single handedly has 5+ AAAA class games. CT, FFII, FFIII, Zelda LTTP, Super Metroid.
GC was so underrated, it disgusts me the crap it gets. Same with the N64 at times. I mean Rare and Nintendo titles on the 64 were superb, and if it werent for Yamauchi's little comments about RPG's, we would have had all the FF games like the PS.
never had nes, snes was my first system 1- snes- my first had great games for it. 2- N64- some of the best games ever on this console, mario 64, legend of zelda ocarina of time, goldeneye, perfect dark 3-GC- had great games, but no depth, no online, ultimately went down hill. but i loved it started of with nintendo couldnt see myself not owning a nintendo console, not much of a handheld guy, but hey my fav company seems to always win in that department, maybe i should actually get a DS, who knows.

I'll say one thing about the Cube, I never was interested in it last gen but since I got my Wii I've been looking into the GameCube library and scooping up any good games I could find that were cheap and I've been pretty amazed by how many good games are on the Cube. I have found about 50 games on the Cube that I consider worthy as being in my game collection, and that's more then enough to keep me busy for a generation. I was pretty suprised by this. I was only expecting to find 20 or so titles.
