R&C has never been my thing but this will be a great continuation of the series for fans. Hoping some other great games are shown along side this deep dive.
I always want to like R & C games. They look great, have inventive weaponry, and a bit of a sense of humor, and every time I lose interest after 4 or 5 hours. They just don't grab me. I don't think I've ever finished one.

Honestly don't see the hype around it, graphics whilst nice don't look that impressive, same gameplay since the ps2 but now with a dodge button and the rifts seem like a gimmick.

Insomniac agrees with 60fps. I'm pretty sure every other R&C game was 60fps on PS2 and PS3.
I played a bit of the last one on PS5 after the 60 fps patch and it is much better. Still not a top-tier R&C game tho. I liked most of the PS2 and PS3 games better.
For me they are just fun idk. I get a kick out of seeing all the bolts go flying and the unique weapons make for some silly combos. It's usually enough to carry me through just from upgrading the weapons.
Flying and clank sections can be a bit of a drag. PS4 R&C had some really boring clank section and the flying levels were very meh.
The graphics look great but the gameplay is more the same but that's to be expected for a Ratchet & Clank game. Still, this will be a day one purchase...assuming I'll have PS5 by then.
There are several reasons to own a PS5. Demon's Souls, Miles Morales, Returnal (tomorrow), Ratchet & Clank (June), improved QoL, the best controller ever made, insane loading times, backwards compatibility, etc.
My kids were really interested in playing it as we watched together. I told them they can see if they like it first with playing the last one that came out that we have thanks to Plus.

Game looks fantastic! I’ve always loved the Ratchet & Clank games. Good looking games that are quite fun and also a great sense of humour as well. This is definitely on my short list for games to get when I get a PS5.
