There will also be global collaboration btw players with hints a unique kind of co op play. Fighting is more a choice in this game.

ok:

1. talking about 'combat' in a video game is passe. its beating a dead horse, if that is the highlight of the game I am not remotely intresting.

2. does the story seem stereotypical based on what I saw? yes

3. I dont want stories in my game...PEROID, let alone one that is mostly the game.

favorite games in the past 4 years would be 7 days to die, Kerbal Space Program, Cities Skylines, Space Engineers, Elite Dangerous I think. good enough baseline

Very much liked the Resident Evil 2 trailer. The opening half minute leaves you in mystery, hints at something, and then wham, Leon Kennedy, young, in his original police gear.

IMO that 90 odd seconds had more artistry and excitement than 8 and a half minutes of Death Standing.

It was just a big ol' pile of shit for beret wearing uni students to pretend le deep.

I not going to lie, It was disappointing, I was looking foward to this game the most going into E3.

defiantly the weakest link of the 4.

It will be amazing once its complete but this is the 4th trailer without proper action game-play.

Spider-Man , Ghost a T and tlou 2 was a 11/10 too tho.

A movie-game/walking simulator that is being weird just for the sake of being weird. I would honestly rather watch paint dry than ever play this "game".

I've been saying from the beginning that giving Kojima a blank check to do whatever he wants was a bad idea. Some people need a filter and restraints to help channel their creativity into a good product and Kojima is definitely one of those people.

So a movie game. SONY, duh.

It looks like, how much sh*t can you carry on your back while walking around, simulator.

All of those games would fail hard at trying to do a 8min teaser trailer.

OF COURSE one should look down on the potential of a game that doesn't represent anything they are remotely interested in. I dont care if the game is a smash hit.

also, I am not playing 'how I can support the developer making as much money as possible' simulator. I play games, I either like the game or not, I dont give a F how 'successful' it is.

also, I never said my games are not stereotypical and making that risky observation on your part doesnt make that game suddenly not have a stereotypical STORY (as in the story part of the game you know?)

Wasting your time pointing out other peoples faults or contradictions as a rebuttle does not change reality. either what they say is true or not REGARDLESS of other factors.

I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to be doing in this game.... I didn't have a ton of hype for it, but if I had to guess, itll be the trendy pick for GOTY by many, despite what we all see as a ton of shortcomings. Sony nerds defend Kojima to no end.

Still... New ip from aj accomplished developer is a VERY good thing in games.

This is either going to be the greatest thing that has ever happened, or the most pretentious bunch of nonsense ever put to visual media. I feel there is just no possible in between.

Not interested in and not positively critical of is two different things. You might learn that someday

1. I dont care if the game is a smashing success

2. I dont care if the games I like are failures.

3. I like to be actively doing something in a game, rather than sitting on my ass waiting for the cut scene to complete.

4. attacking the games I like (which I invite you to do!) doesnt change my observations.

The game looks like the same same old AAA dont really do much as a player song and dance just better graphics.

When it comes out i say i told you so becuase there will be things from the games you love that will also game in unique ways.

If you were truly gamer that seen it all. You would know kojima is one of the few that can refresh that a little.

It was very interesting. It seems that people don't understand this game.

I still have no clue what's going on but I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say this is not going to be a good game. It seems to be open world...similar to mgs5...and the primary mechanic seems to be delivering crap from one area to the next while avoiding whatever those floating dudes are supposed to be. It's going to be a repetitive mess.

Not at all what I was expecting, but somehow it still fit what was shown up until now. Kojima is the master of mindf**k!!!

I liked it alot. Been reading about it over at the death stranding reddit. Tons of cool theories out there.

last kojima game i played the Trailer was better than the game, i hope this is not the same.

I’m on the fence. Still don’t really know what this game is about or what kind of game it is. The supposed gameplay was so sporadic that it really didn’t show anything. IMO this game will either be great or really bad. There is no in between here.
