If you haven't bought the best FPS ever made then you probably should today. It's incredibly cheap. :)

I just realize that I haven't gotten Half Life Opposing Force and Blue Shift yet so I probably get them.

Pretty sure tomorrow will be a repeat of some of the most popular deals from the second half, so I'm probably finished with this sale. Wound up picking up the following games:

I am getting myself Divinity 2: Dragon Knight Saga, heard nothing but good things about it.

Company of Heroes sale :shock: Heard nothing but great things about CoH and I've never played it. So cheap it might be worth it! Divinity 2 seems awesome and Mafia 2 is on sale. Mafia 2 is a fantastic game that all PC gamers should own :P

So far I got:

Borderlands + Dr Ned, Gernal Konxx DLC

Around $35, which I would have payed $105 without the deals and such so pretty good stuff.

I didn't get much off Steam, actually. I only bought The Deus Ex Collection which contains Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition and Deus Ex: Invisible War. I did go a bit crazy on GOG, though. Got myself Heroes of Might and Magic 2: Gold Edition, Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga, Baldur's Gate 2 Complete, Neverwinter Nights: Diamond Edition, Icewind Dale Complete, and Icewind Dale 2 Complete.

Is it just me or are the sales getting progressively less awesome? I mean sure Mafia II for $12.50 and Company of Heroes for $2.50 are somewhat tempting, but nearly as much as Mass Effect 2 for $10, Just Cause 2 for $7.50, Batman: Arkham Asylum for $7.50, or Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition for $25.

Is it possible to gift away games that you may end up having twice? I already bought The Orange Box when the deal was first on but am now interested in Half-Life Complete. I may just have to go with Half-Life 1 Anthology, though.

I don't get the love for amnesia.
I installed the demo and played the game UPSIDE DOWN. Now...I though my character was just so f'ed up that his vision was like that and I decided to play the whole demo like that. I managed to reach the sewers or a water flooded area. So I ultimately decided to have a peak on the forums.
Turns out, playing the whole game upside down, but in a way more confusing that your controls aren't reversed and your character isn't upside down...was a graphical glitch...:lol:

So all this time I was like, wow this game takes mindwarping through a whole new level :lol:

And steam deals suck, I can't buy Stalker (or GTA4 for that matter) even if it was buyable a few days ago because it's ''unavailable in your region''.

I talked to a mod about it, and they said it's fine to post Steam threads :) It's perfectly fine to point out deals on games, and it's amazingly fine to try and get discussions started about the games like I have tried to do.

I liked the demo, but I was about done with the whole concept when I finished it. I'm not a big fan of tower defense, and there are tons of free tower defense games that are good enough for me anyway.

I decided to get either Bioshock 2 or GTA IV from Amazon. I don't think I have any hope of running GTA IV, but I asked about it in the PC forum to make sure. If anyone here could give me an answer, that would be awesome. :)

yes, no more new deals. Steam will revert to normal and have midweek madness now and then...the closest you can get to holiday deals.
