of course.
[QUOTE="rjdofu"]Looks like the only major downside of the controller aka. the d-pad has been fixed. The price prolly won't be cheap though.Ly_the_Fairy
Microsoft has had a new model of the controller, with a raised dpad that's way better, for quite some time.
Yeah, and it's so widely available.
Hopefully the sticks have more movement and smaller deadzones, those are my main issues with the 360 controller.

For me, the sensitivity is lower than the DS3, and that is probably what makes the dead zone feel bigger. That, and the sticks on the 360 pad are just a bit shorter than the DS3's. Given we are talking about very short sticks to begin with, I imagine that slight differences adds a lot.

which is also why in almost any engagement where ps3 and 360 were pitted against each other the 360 came out ontop *example: bf 1943 map unlock was achieved on 360 before ps3* If we had a real multiplat cross platform game the ps3 users would be destroyed.[QUOTE="lostrib"][QUOTE="Timstuff"]

I wish that I would've gotten one of the Tron controllers before sites started charging $150 for them.. They used to cost $45...superclocked
The bright green led is painful enough in the dark(sony got the right idea tiny not bright red led on the top of the controller) now my whole controller glows with a bright blue led do not want.

It doesnt take a genuis to figure out that the 360 won because it has a larger playerbase. They explains it in the pic. It's so you don't have to worry about cable breakage anymore. I guess that is something that gives hardcore gamers trouble to sleep :|.The hell you need a carrying case for?

I can't stand the feel of a wired mouse personally. I like for my mouse to feel like it's floating across the mousepad, which is impossible when the wire is hitting everything and tugging on the mouse...[QUOTE="Ly_the_Fairy"]

Yep, they are. If you want an alternative to the standard 360 controller just go to places like Best Buy or Walmart and they should have the transforming d-pad controllers for 360. They're cheaper than this Razer controller as well, but I guess it's at least worth waiting to see if the Razer is the best controller available.

I like for my mouse to feel like it's floating across the mousepad, which is impossible when the wire is hitting everything and tugging on the mouse...I hate wireless mice cos they seem to have some input lag for me, I can agree with the tugging though. My first mouse had awful problems with it but when I got the deathadder I rigged it up to have the cable lying flat along the desk more so it tugged less. Feels very floaty now.
All Xbox controllers must have a security chip from Microsoft, and Microsoft will not approve of any third-party wireless accessories because they want to maintain their monopoly on wireless controllers. Razer wants to maintain good standing with Microsoft, so they do not make wireless pads. There are wireless third-party Xbox 360 controllers out there, but they are not licensed through Microsoft (not that that actually matters, since a controller is a controller)."Razer Sabertooth Elite"
This XTREME GAM3R nonsense needs to stop. Just call it the Razer iController like a normal company. A sabertooth isn't even a snake. Unfortunately.
But seriously, Razer's branding bothers me somewhat. They do have their own identity, and that's good I suppose. But to me it's a borderline abrasive one. Everything has to be "cool" and blatantly aimed at this specific demographic.
So the reason for no wireless is they couldn't fit a battery slot on the back because they had to have those huge flappy pads there? Or/and maybe the screen and backlit buttons suck up too much energy? Either way I'd rather have wireless. 10 feet is tiny. People live in their living rooms. Living rooms are generally quite large.I really don't understand why a carrying case. That's just a silly waste of money.
Other than that I'm sure it's a quality product that fills the niche of people wanting to be able to crouch and look without taking your thumb of the stick or whatever the purpose of more, programmable buttons is.

Also, stop viral marketing.
