@R4gn4r0k: Love the logo and mouse at the same time :)
Gotta be honest with you, I don't even know that e-sports team. But I like their ghost logo.

@R4gn4r0k: Dumb analogy on your part. I know how to play with a KB+M as it's the only thing I played RTS on.
So knowing what I know about both input devices why would I practice with a KB+M to play a genre it's not meant for? That's like riding on a dangerous rocky off road trail in a Ford Raptor and then saying you should learn to do it with a mountain bike.
The standard controller wasn't made for every type of console game either. Rather, the developers design their games FOR the controller, in the same way they design their games FOR a mouse and keyboard. You can't seriously tell me Sony had every console game of the next twenty years in mind when they designed the DualShock. If controllers were really "meant" for specific games instead of games being designed for controllers and KBM, then we'd have different controllers for all kinds of games. There are always compromises. The keyboard and mouse can accommodate a vast variety of genres and mechanics.
@ezekiel43: Sorry I just don't see anyone getting out a KB+M to play something like Arkham Knight. It's absolutely unnecessary and certainly not the best option.
I showed you me playing Arkham City with a mouse and keyboard on the last page. How about you practice instead of making these unfounded claims?

His whole argument is based on unfounded claims. The battle is already lost since he hasn't provided a shred of evidence except his preference.
@ezekiel43: Again why would I practice when I can do the same with a controller and it's more comfortable?
Subjective. Preference. Opinion. I find the keyboard and mouse more comfortable.
@DragonfireXZ95: You don't even have an argument. Your argument is nothing more then subjective nonsense.
So prove my argument wrong. Your preference and the fact that you suck with a mouse and keyboard isn't evidence of anything. Speedrunners use mouse and keyboard to get the best times in third person shooters, because it's not possible with a controller. Prove the bold statement wrong.
@DragonfireXZ95: You made the claim that it wasn't possible with a controller with 0 proof. So prove to me that it's not possible?
World record for Arkham Knight on a Xbox controller.

I also don't suck with M+KB I used it for years on all RTS and Mobas I just choose not to play with it on a on TPS or Action adventure because it feels worse in those genres. Again this is all subjective something you can't seem to grasp.

I did. I linked you a speedrun that was over an hour slower with the controller versus keyboard and mouse.
Posted at roughly the same time, January and February of this year.

Find me proof of a controller beating mouse and keyboard in a speedrun for a 3rd person shooter. Go ahead, you have youtube.
@DragonfireXZ95: I showed you the world record in Arkham Knight was done on a controller. Fair argument since he specifically mentioned Arkham.
Regardless your point is ridiculous. About 20% of Shadow of the tomb raider is spent doing shootouts. The difference in time has far less to do with precision aiming and more to do with remembering where to go and what to do.

Um, Arkham Knight is not a third person shooter? Are you that much of an idiot? This thread is about RDR2, a game with, ya know, shooting. Thus, why we are talking about third person shooters? I never mentioned Arkham, and I don't consider Arkham a 3rd person shooter. It has a bit of shooting with the tank, but it's basically shooting at enemies that don't move in a tank, so it's incredibly easy. I'm not saying a keyboard and mouse is better for those games, I specifically mean games like RDR2, with a good amount of shooting involved.
Are you admitting that third person shooters that require aim are better played on a mouse and keyboard? Because your original stance was that you could do just as well with a controller.
@r-gamer: I got a response from the guy with 25 million points in Iceberg Lounge in Arkham Knight. He did it with a keyboard and mouse.
@ezekiel43: The world record speed run was done with a controller.
Show me a video with a higher score in the challenges, done with a controller.
@ezekiel43: Would need to log online to see what the world record is.
I know the world record speed run was done with a XB1 controller.
And this is a score of over 20 million done on a PS4 controller.

The top score in Iceberg Lounge is 1 billion points, which is very fishy. Depending on the challenge, you can rack up points quicker. Still, 25 million is amazing and destroys your argument of Batman not playing well on a mouse and keyboard.
@ezekiel43: Didn't say it didn't play well. There are people that can play a guitar blind does that mean blind people are better at playing a guitar? My point is a controller is everybit as effective as a KB+M if not more so while being far more comfortable. Playing at a desk to play my video games after I sit at desk in my office at work has 0 appeal to me. But to each their own.

"If not more so."
That's what you haven't proven and can't.
@ezekiel43: The speed run was done on a controller. God knows what trainer mod PC users are installing to get high scores. And yes they do exist.
And the video I showed you was done on a mouse and keyboard. What's your point? Do you have any idea how hard it is to survive that long in Iceberg Lounge? Really fucking hard. The world record being done on a controller doesn't prove anything, except that maybe not enough people have tried it on a mouse and keyboard.
