RE Fans, How do you feel about the evolution of the series?

And this I don't get. People are blasting companies for rehashes and now some of us are asking for straight remakes.

Is RE4 an excellent game? Yes

Is it a real (in a traditional sense) RE game? Well it has the RE name, so maybe yes, but i will say no.

Did i played and enjoy it (even if it was the horrible PC european version with no shaders at retail)? Yes

I don't care for anything else.

And by evolution you mean sharp u-turn away from progress and teleportation to some distant place where skins of the characters are filled up by simplistic imposter action heroes?

I'm getting over it. Thats how I feel about it. :x

(It is a good game but its far from Resident Evil).

Some games people do want remakes for like Parasite Eve. The REmake was so good that people would like more.
