RE ORC - good to see it's selling so well (1.7M)

RE ORC sold 1700000 copies so far , im happy that gamers gave it a fair chance after all the reviews , i was worried too when i seen the review but i liked the trailers and gampley videos so i gave it a try , i was suprised how much fun it was (especially with friends) so after a few days i went to get another copy for local multiplayer and i dont regret it , and the DLC missions which arent even mentioned in the review cuz not being out at the time are even better than the regular campaign (more difficult , new characters and gameplay elements)

Not really a good thing to see.. Poor games selling isn't good brah.

I spent $70 on the collectors edition, and the game was about 3 hours long. All of the new missions should be free, but I know that will never happen. (Yes I know the first one was free)

Fun fact: I actually snapped my Bubsy 3D disc when I was a kid. My sister stuck her finger in the hole in the disc and got her finger stuck. It wouldn't come off so I snapped the disc in half to get it off. I did it without hesistation. It seemed like a good excuse to break that terrible game!

Game isn't all that bad, people are just watching reviwes and not forming opinions for themselves. Either way it proves that RE fans want action games.. maybe if this game bombed capcom would change their approach but the fans condemning them are the same fans buying the games.

Its a fun game... but the content seems limited. The DLC for it should have been free.

I believe people bought the game on the promise of nostalgia and not because the game itself. Operation Raccoon City is one of the most mediocre games released on recent years.

Nice to hear. The game is actually a solid shooter, and a very fun co-op game.

Well keep at it Capcom you have shown us that consumer will continue to put up with your inane practices.

Can't wait for the new DMC to sell gangbusters locked at 30fps.

Game already has $20 in DLC and was extremely short and unbalanced multiplayer, doesn't deserve those numbers.

My problem is I don't really want to spend the money on a game that I can tell may be dissapointing by watching videos and reading multiple reviews. $60 is a lot when there are other games of higher quality that I want to play also. It might be a game that I could have some fun with, but if it really looks as messy and buggy as the videos show and reviews mention than I will use the money and time on a different game.

Well I have actually played the game and I thought it was pretty bad. It was incredible how uninteresting the environments and characters were. I didn't know it was possible to make a co-op shooter in raccoon city boring but my god, they did it. Bullet sponge enemies were also not fun to fight especially with limited ammo and the A.I. was shockingly bad. Add on some dated graphics with unreliable controls and you have a mess of a game.

Crap game gets good sales while good games get crap sales.TheGuardian03
