I bash UC because it's UNNESSSARY, Resident evil 1,2,3,4,5,6...is the main river and games like UC are small branched off little side rivers. I don't need UC that's why I bash it, But it's impossible to NOT like Re5 and STILL love UC because if you like Resident evil it's obvious you like the main series and (perhaps) not spin-offs like re: outbreak. That's why I'm saying that that guy shouldn't fool himself...

People really hyped the Final Fantasy shooter and praised it and lauded it and talked about "how sweeet it will be!", and then it turned out to be crap.

Why does a RE shooter suddenly recieve scorn and derision?

 The Gun Survivor Series just sucks. I'm a fan of light-gun games, but light gun games relating to RE usually are not fun.

haven't played any Gun Survivor or RE light gun games....good point, though you were the first person to bring it up, so I'm guessing that pure fanboy-ism is being used in this argument as opposed to your first-hand logic.

Looks a lot cleaner than the GameCube version, which is good.

I honestly wouldnt be surprised if this sold better on the Wii than it did on the GC and PS2,

a few reasons why:

1. The pricepoint

2. The fact that Wii owners are STARVED for adult-oriented games

3. The Wii-mote controls. The violent nature of this game will be brought to life with the Wii-mote controls (Ie; slashing/stabbing motions, shooting ect) -- the first game like this on the Wii, and first time people would actually be killing in a game using realistic physical gestures. It may spark some media backlash that will give it more exposure... something it sorely lacked in its PS2/GC release.

IMO, fans who love the RE series simply because it has great games tend to stick to the main games (like you, for example). On the other hand, the hardcore RE fans, as well as those interested in the overall plotline of the series, probably play both the main games AND the spin-offs!

Do you understand what I'm getting at? Cows, lemmings, etc. will get a game that CONTINUES the story, while sheep will get a game ENHANCES upon the ALREADY-ESTABLISHED PLOT of the previous games!

In short, EVERYBODY WINS!!!1!1!!:D

I did not get this game for Gamecube or PS2. Heck, I didn't even play it.

Now I have the chance to enjoy it on the Wii using the wiimote. Nice. Can't wait.
