It is coming out for both consoles but the weird thing is... Thats an X05 trailer, yet it says "For PlayStation 3"? Microsoft advertising for the enemy now? =D
Well I think it's only for PS3 in Japan. Europe and NA get it on the 360. Japan doesn't get it on 360. I remember hearing this sometime a while back. Makes sense to me sense you metnioned Biohazard.waynehead895
I think the main reason for a PS3 exclusive (in Japan) is because the PS3 disc will be regionless with the exception of labeling. Capcom only needs to build one master for all regions for the PS3 version of RE/Biohazard 5 and pay just one licensing fee to Sony, one set of charges to the presses, etc. Whereas if a Japanese 360 version were to be produced, there would be twice the licensing fees, higher pressing fees due to multiple masters, etc.

Most games are done that way. Thanks to GTA4 we now know that this means nearly nothing.
I have a feeling that Capcom will release RE5 on PS3 first because the franchise was born on PS, then it will come to 360 a few weeks or maybe a month or two later.

Megaman was born on the NES but tha didn't stop Capcom from making PS megaman games later on..that's some really weak logic there.
I just saw a HD trailer of RE5 in gametrailers, and at the end it said "Biohazard, for Playstation 3". So my question is, will this game only see the light on the PS3? what about the 360? I thought the wii was the only system losing this game. _TheJoker_
That's a Japanese trailer. Maybe they don't see any point in advertising it for the 360 there or possibly they aren't even bothering to publish a 360 version in Japan. Its been announced from the beginning that it will be on both consoles from day one and I don't see that changing. Also the video of the guy playing showed them using a 360 controller.
