the controls arn't final, most of the UNIQUE and new gameplay elements (cover) haven't been shown and same goes with the levels, etc.
A lot of it were placeholders, concerning controls, animations..for the show, still so much to do.
but overall it looks amazing and plays just as good. Wait untill more has been shown. that being said, don't expect a OMG change from a title that was recieved as unique and FRESH expericence. (RE4)...which many games used idea's from.
Overal I am still looking forward to RE5 but there are 2 thing that I didn't like about the gameplay footage, the buddy system is something I am not interested in and every single animation is the same as RE4. Apart from that the trailer really was impressive.
I'm not yet confident in this new Sheva character, but I have faith in Capcom. Co-op is gonna be fun and it looks like it hasn't changed the formula too much from RE4, which is fine with me.

I'm very dissapointed with it. It steers so far from the Resident Evil formula of Survival Horror that I don't feel that I can call it Resident Evil 5. It's more action and shooting now. I call it "Gears of Evil."

Nope resident evil 5 was a highlight, along with Gears and Fallout for me. The half hour interview over at IGN was really impressive, I can't wait for this game, although I will have to obviously :?.

The devs say they arent zombies, they're just infected. But even then, that's still no excuse for the a.i.
Left4Dead and Dead Space seem way better than RE5 right now, to the point where I can easily see buying one of them over it.

Something released to unvaporize Alan Wake? Square actually gave a release date for Final Fantasy XIII!? :o I don't remember that!
FF13 will be availABle in JapAn next year then the localisation for Europe and America will begin for the PS3 version while building the 360 version at the same time. I don't expect FF13 to hit Amerca and Europe till Q1 2010
