Why did everywhere give R & C 9.0-9.5 and GS gave it a 7.5? The PS3 cost more to start with because it has a BR HD movie player also among other smaller features that add up to be $200 more than what the 360 offered.

As much as reviewing is subjective, there's something not right when a site like GS gives a game 7.5 when just about every other review to date from well know and respecting gaming sites and mags are giving it around 9.0. soulfinger

Gamespot doesn't accidentally review AAA games as "seriously mediocre." Just to put things in perspective, IGN gave Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball for the Xbox 1 like a 9.2. 1UP is just stupid. The other sites are BS.

And it does a great job of being what it is, a great platformer. GameSpot did not do justice to R&C. Calling every other site retarded isn't as retarded as calling GS bias or unfair with its review. GameSpot is ONE site out of many. What makes their word better than the others?

The guy who reviewed R&C is a big SPORTS fan. How can you expect someone who isn't into platformers to give an accurate rating for a game that is a platformer?

i played hs, warhawk and lire and they deserve their score.

Gamespot gave Perfect Dark Zero and Warioware each a score which equates to AAA status. Gamespot may not accidentally review AAA games as seriously mediocre, but they accidentally review low AA games as AAA games it seems.

I agree. The PS3 boasts about its specs and is making us expect some pretty damn epic games, and it just is not delivering. R&C does not look like its graphics got any better, a little more polished up around the edges, but no significance from the PS2, same with game play, so why should it get perfect?-shmelo-

not really TC. i mean if they were reviewing something that looked and played like ninja bread man on the PS3 (and it was being sold at full price) then u might have a point. but i dont think any reviewer is expecting the PS3 to put out graphics that would completly humble a 360, do it all at 1080P native and run it at 120FPS. despite sonys crap, im pretty sure reviewers are happy with 30FPS at 720P for PS3 games and wont dock marks for these (ive never seen it mentioned as a complaint anyway).

GS gave R&C 7.5 because, as far as they were concerned, it was 7.5 material. u may disagree with them, fair enough, but theres no conspiracy here. there giving there honest opinion...something i expect of every review of a game. they've come down like a ton of bricks on some of wiis and PCs big hitters too so its not like there just picking on PS3. some ive agreed with (TP was not 9 material imho) and some i havent (an 8 for deus ex 1? seriously?). i would much rather they be honest than if they just wait for a few reviews and then fall in line.

Dude, this one of the most desperate post I have ever had the honor of viewing. The occurance of the Holocoust is an opinion, really? So those facts were something that people mustered up. Those testimonies were fabricated. Dude get a life if you are going to use an example of such social weight please make a responsible argument and not some half-retarded attempt at an analogy.

Oblivion on PS3 was a etter game (graphically too) on PS3 but it got lower rating... i htink TC might be coming onto something, because R&C is an AMAZING game, and GS gave it 7.5?? while the average at every other site is 9.0

Actually, by GS standards, it has at least2 good exclusive, and 6 great ones.

And my big beef is not with the score. My problem is quite simply that compared to most reviews, this seems to be very half-assed and contradictory. It seems as though the reviewer is the one with the identity crisis, not knowing if he thinks it is a good game or not.
