really, why is there System Wars?

I really just don't understand it.

It's just game systems. WHO CARES ABOUT THE OTHER SYSTEMS? You like the 360 so you hate the PS3 and Wii. Despise them. I recall someone saying in the OT he wants to punch out the faces of all of the wii fans... :|

The Wii doesn't have HD, so let's all hate all of the Wii fans. The Wii has rated E games, lets make fun of the Wii fans. PS3 will dominate this generation just because it has Killzone 2. I hope Sony and Nintendo will run out of business.

Why?

Nintendo has given us so much gameplay wise, and caters to all ages. Sony first introduced to us many games and the first good graphics that would lead to the GC, xbox, and PS2 graphics. Microsoft introduced HD and heavy online play. They are all good in some way.

What's the big deal? Videogames are... just videogames. We take it so seriously. I'm not a sheep, lemming, or cow. I'm totally neutral and like them evenly.

I'm here because it's really fun to watch. Plus gaming news comes really fast, and the occasional intelligentthread (like this one) are also fun to participate in.

It was supposed to keep all the flaming and such out of the specific PC, PS3, 360, and Wii forums.

This question is a little too easy if you ask me. people are absolutely sick. Completely messed up in the head. Pinacles of psychotic bags of flesh that can't even be considered human. And what do these bags of flesh do? They go onto the system wars forums and argue and hate (not debate) over each console as if their own very lives depended on it.

Look into the hardcore of music, there's death metal fans against rap fans against techno fans against classical fans...when you have something that people are passionate about, they're going to fightover it.

This is how I know you are full of BS. I don't care if you own every console, there is no way you can like them all equally. Everyone has a bias. Ironically, you are the worst kind of poster in System Wars. You are a peacemaker, you are someone who will waltz into System Wars and question it. Which is stupid because anyone with half a mind can come in here and realize it is to be taken with a grain of salt.

And yes, there are good debates here. You have to look for them. I have had numerous peacefuldebates and conversations in System Wars. You cannot tell me this is all hate.

I agree. Videogames is about having fun and enjoying what they offer us. I might be unbiased because I own all the next gen consoles sowhat :)

Hate? You're taking these stuff way too seriously. I've argued with people over 360 and PS3. But I've never seen anyone give even the slightest impression that they hate someone b/c they own a particular system. Not even close. They debate, argue, yes sometimes pointlessly to release stress. But I honestly have never seen any hate on System Wars. Hate is genuinely despising someone. Does anyone here really despise people they don't know b/c they own a system? No. Stop imagining things.
