Holy sh*t, good job on being completely wrong. As for "fck"ing up your hands, their are special keyboards and/or controllers.
I think Heirren was just trolling around, he is smarter than that. Â
To an extent. I'm an x-pc gamer. I've been thinking about building one again. But really, there is some truth to what I said. The REAL pc games experience IS very expensive. From my perspective if one is to get involved in the platform, you go high end. Running the latest flight sim is taxing. To go along with the simulation games, the proper controllers are very expensive. All keyboards are bad for the hands. Yes, there are more ergonomic models, but it is the repeated motions and angles at which your hands rest that are dangerous. And that's just another point to the expensive aspect--if you are going to game on a pc, then you are going to end up spending more on a decent keyboard. Btw, thanks for the complement. Likewise. You're not black and tupac is dead.

2- I don't see the bad point of this... sicne it's not even required.
3- I guess you don't have a job in the IT departement or anything do with a keyboard. But please bring on the facts.
4- Not sure why we can't ?
5- This happens to everyone sooner or later.
6- Farmville is not even counted as exclusive when compared to console.
7- What's wrong with Japanese or German car? If you can find me a better AWD card, I'll be listening.
I still keep an updated PC gaming rig.

PC gaming is as expensive as you make it. It can be quite expensive, but it doesn't have to be. You don't need controllers that cost thousands of dollars.
Console gaming can be quite expensive too. I'm looking at you 360 harddrives and Vita memory sticks. Things that are required no less, at least those very expensive controllers and keyboards are not required.
Also if you want people to take your points seriously, why mention stuff like farmville ? :?

Personally I don't find steam attractive. It feels like bait to rid the industry of physical distribution. Cheaper now, but when steam more or less monopolizes game sales it can lead to a very dark place. The TOS is also very shady. They've already demonstrated the ability to change it with zero consent from the end user, which is particularly wrong for someone with massive amounts of past purchases. Consoles have resale value. In fact, the used console market is more popular now that it ever has been. Keep your stuff in. Pristine order and it will be worth something down the line.Indeed, I'm someone who buys a lot of games so even if I did spend more on my rig initially I end up spending more money on consoles because of the higher price of games and accessoires.

Keep lying to yourself.
1. Even with Steam sales it's hard to find anything you'd actually want to play except multiplats.
2. Looking at prices just off what's on the Steam page today :
Max Payne 3 - Steam $39.99, 360 Amazon $29.99
Far Cry 3 - Steam $49.99 360 Amazon 360 $49.99
Ace Combat Assault Horizon - Steam $34.99 Amazon 360 $17.62
Borderlands 2 - Steam $59.99 Amazon 360 $48.98
XCOM - Steam $49.99 Amazon 360 $39.15
And that's not including buying it used.
And that's not including using rentals for games you play once.
And that's not including 2 for 1 sales, %40 off, black friday, trade in deals, etc.
I'm not discounting that MAYBE you might save some money depending on what you buy. But it's not gonna pay for your rig, it's not gonna pay for upgrades over 10 years, it's not gonna pay for MMO subscriptions, etc.

Yeah but that's like saying "how bout using prices from Toys R Us 2 for 1 sale"And with that mindset, you end up saving more on the PC. There are not many 66% or 75% off sales for console games. Also you're still comparing brand new games vs old games to push your agenda. Also not everyone with a PC pays for a MMO sub (ever heard of Guild Wars 2?). It's entirely dependent on how much you buy, when you buy it, how often you upgrade, etc. Debating something like this is idiotic. But if you must continue, just do so without using faulty comparisons. If you keep up with the deals and make smart buys, you end up spending little.
