1. You have a point there. However, it is nowhere near as bad as many make out.
2. Indeed. Though the same can be said for the PS2, GC, DS, PSP, Wii and any other console. It was the one thing that the Xbox had over the PS2, and now that the PS3 has it and Xbox 360 doesn't, it's like it really matters now...
3. You already stated one thing. As for WiFi - the option is there if people want it. Rather than saddle people with a tech they may not want - most people enjoy not having to fork out heaps for tech they don't want or need. It would be a nice addition, but it's not as if it is a necessity.
4. DVD9's are nowhere near limited. There hasn't been a single game yet that has gone over DVD9, except for Blue Dragon, and even that wasn't a requirement. It won't stop games being made, and it won't limit developments either.
5. Milking is what you call a $600 machine which at best can do a fancy slideshow and has no games for it. The Xbox 360 launched with great games and continues to get them. The Elite wasn't required at launch, and unless you are really into movies, isn't required now. 20GB is more than enough for gaming for now.
6. Using a game that isn't out yet is just asking for ownage. And really, how many animations does someone really need? Lifelike or not - who really cares when a game has one major requirement? It needs to entertain. And there are heaps of Xbox 360 games that do that.
7. Please - using more games that aren't out to compare? And whatever happened to the draw distance in Oblivion? You can see for ages in that...
8. Incorrect again. Sure, the biggest game is Gears and it certainly looks good, but not all games rely on it. It's up to the developer to decide what engine to use, and UE3 has proven itself a solid engine. Where is the ownage here, btw? In any case, I point you towards Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero, Viva Pinata, PGR3 - all of which are MS games and don't use UE3 and still manage to look great. As for art direction, Gears has great art direction, it's a reason it got the art direction GOTY, and other games have great art direction too, such as Crackdown, Bullet Witch and Viva Pinata - all of which are only on Xbox 360 and don't use UE3...
9. Arguing the same point is stupid, really. And have a look at this, what is the biggest selling PS3 game? Resistance. Same with Xbox 360, Gears of War. Whats wrong with a good shooter? Besides which, the shooter argument is dead. MS games like Viva Pinata, Crackdown and PGR3 prove this. Besides, it still has heaps to offer besides shooters, and there is nothing wrong with shooters anyway...
10. Tired argument that holds no truth.
