recommend me a console for FPS

1 thing i don't get it is... you see. PC games are mostly DVD's . but the graphics is more nicer then ps 3. how come ps 3 need blu ray for its games?Executor_84

Ps3 has more exclusive FPSs being supported, and still gets all the multi plats.

The online is free, which is nice.

The controller has more sensitive sticks, so it's more accurate.

It doesn't have Halo, so if that's what you want, you have to have a 360.

It does have KZ, so if that's what you want, you have to have a ps3.

Fat Princess is not an FPS. I don't know if you were saying it was or not, but it's not.

Hi all, I am going to buy a console soon, am not a fan boy of either console. I just wanna play mainly games, which is FPS on my console. Xbox games are Gears of War, HALO. I have a blu ray standalone so with or without blu ray is alright =) PS 3 games are Killzone 2, Fat princess. Multiplats: Modern Warfare 2, Bad Company 2. I understand that most of the multiplat games looks better in xbox 360. I also understand that Xbox 360 controller is better for FPS. Live is definetely better then psn as we need to pay yearly i think. but it has cross chatting, better multiplayer all this. which console will you guys recommend me? i understand that xbox 360 d pad is not good as ps 3. but razer is coming out a new controller for xbox 360 which is RAZER ONZA . so do i buy xbox 360 for just FPS games or PS 3 for just FPS games? please recommend me a console that has better multiplayer, better FPS games and Good controller for FPS. If you wanna play FPS the only obvious choice is the PC.

the 360 is the obvious choice. Can't go wrong shooter wise - The controller is tailor made for shooters as well. Live with all the social aspects is just a bonus.

360 is better for FPS imo. Halo and Left For Dead are awesome.locopatho

pretty much everything else is multiplat so pick one, flip a coin

360 for Halo, L4D and Gears (TPS) series. All with awesome coop and splitscreen options

Sure PC version is better just like many games are better on 360 when compared to PS3. Does it make PS3 versions less enjoyable?

On topic: Xbox ... It has better shooters,more shooters (Cows agree)quite simply. Better controller without odd ..."triggers" a more populated and thus diverse online community and, AND, it has Shadowrun which is the best by the way.

Also it has Halo, if that's your thing.

The only shooter the PS3 has is KZ, which is excellent, but the MP gets stale quickly and its community drops of faster then usain bolt. SOCOM confrontation is good.

360 is better if your an FPS person tbh.If your not as bothered then either is fine.

I only own 4 FPS's in my collection of bout 24 games most of the others are a random bag of rythym,RPG,racing and adventure.

I'd say the 360. 85% of the games on the shelves in the 360 section involves guns, so there's your answer.

The 360 is criticized because it's best games consist mainly of shooters. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but you see more variety in the best PS3 games.

i am more towards multipalyer and more towards shooting games. have a lap top so there fore i cant buy anymore pc. i wish to get a console mainly for FPS for myself and once in awhile get Fifa/PES or WWE for my friends who drop by my house once in a while. but i also like Fat Princess in the PS 3. so confused on which console to buy. please dun tell me to buy both console as i can only afford 1 console right now. I loved playing bad company 2, modern warfare 2 but maybe medal of honour. for ps 3 i loved killzone 2 for xbox 360 i love gears of war 2, halo versions. yeah, paying bucks for yearly i do not mind. in a nutshell:

buy the 360 for FPS shooters.

When you get bored of FPS's (and you will), buy a ps3, because it's basically better for every other type of game (with wayyy better exclusives)

ps3 exclusives >>>>>>>>>>>>> 360 exclusives outside of Halo. I love halo though.
