just buy it for both, if you care so much. that way you can't loose.

360, it's actually HD.

The 360 versions runs better and displays at a higher native resolution. The PS3 version has a little extra content, I think an extra hideout and an extra outfit.

I'd go with the 360 version. The extra content is very minimal and the dlc for the game decreases the margin between content even more.

Played both, not that much of a difference, Lens of truth captures at 740, if you have a 1080p HDTV.. with up scaling, you might not be able to tell the difference.

360version looks better, runs better, higher resolution.
Install it and its load times obliterate ps3 load times on the game.

If your friends have the game go with which ever version they have.

360 version but it really doesn't matter as the difference is miniscule. Definitely the best game of 2010.

360 is pretty superior. If you have the option to buy either you definitely wanna go with the 360. If you only have a PS3 it's certainly not worth going out and buying a 360 for it, but there is a noticeable difference.

Pretty much this. It's not like the differences will make you enjoy the game a lot more, but it's noticeable. Personally, I'd get the 360 version for the peace of mind knowing I have the technically superior version. If the extra content was anything special I would have gotten the PS3 version but as it is I'd prefer the extra stability over a few meaningless additions. I guess according to some that would make me a Lem though, so you may want to listen to them.

For future reference 90% of multiplats look better on Xbox 360 the other 10% they are equal.

360 easily. for better AA and higher resolution, better draw distance and more objects on screen ect.

EDIT: just so you know, quite a few multiplats are better on the ps3.

360 has superior graphics but PS3 has one more hideout, they're both pretty much 99% identical; it's a great game no matter what systme you buy it on.

Wait PS3 has more content? Go for the PS3 one. The differences in graphics between the 2 are marginal at best.

Not really. Let's look at the multiplats that definitively look better on the 360. Now, compare that to the amount of multiplats available for each system. I'm pretty sure you'll find the number to be far below 90%. I'd frankly be surprised if it was even 1%.

WHen given the choice, get the 360 version, when RDR is concerned... it has better visuals and better framerate... also some objects are removed from the PS3 version.

I like how on the 2011 titles that list shows MvC3 as an x360 winner despite the references linking to LoT and DF saying that it's a PS3 winner. Homefront shows x360 winner as well despite the references calling it a draw. And that's just the mistakes in counting from the few 2011 titles alone (fixing them makes PS3 have twice the winners vs x360 this year, 4 to 2).

I guess I should make a similar webpage with the same links to references in LoT and DF and just put 90% of titles as PS3 victory and you will see it as true because it is on the internet and links to reliable sources?

Look at the whole list which Digital Foundry have reviewed. It's more than just RDR that is better on 360.

I like how on the 2011 titles that list shows MvC3 as an x360 winner despite the references linking to LoT and DF saying that it's a PS3 winner. Lens of Truth? The same so called "comparison experts" that gave The PS3 version of Batman: Arkham Asylum the win due to extra content? LMAO! LoT doesn't exactly go into nearly as much depth as Eurogamer/Digital Foundry; you don't hear Lens of truth talking about stuff like "upscaled low resolution alpha textures", & Digital foundry really pick games apart when they do face offs.

Not to mention that DF (as well as B3D Forums) has had a whole lot of experience in multiplat comparisons than what LoT or IGN has, & have done comparisons on multiplats even before IGN or LoT were doing them. I would trust them before I trust anything from LoT. Plus it was DF that gave the 360 version of MvC 3 the win, not PS3. And no, fixing them does not make PS3 "twice the winner" of the 2011 comparisons or even before that. That's kewl because I did mention DF as one of the references used by that list you linked under MvC3 as an X360 win when DF says its a PS3 win, and Homefront which DF considers a draw.

Also, LoT gave BAA a win for more than extra content. The camera was further back on the PS3 version which actually made the game better, because batman is so fat he covers a third of your screen, or 90% when he opens his wings, and sometimes I like to actually see what I'm doing and where I'm going.
