The 360 version is higher resolution. I've only played it on PS3 but I'd rather buy it for Xbox360.

360version looks better, runs better, higher resolution.
Install it and its load times obliterate ps3 load times on the game.GreenGoblin2099
lolwut... I thought lems were against installs.
they are? no Last I checked they were againest forced installs because not only is the ps3 slow loading in its cpu, bluray is slow loading. on 360 its fast, and it becomes even faster if you install. On ps3 you have to install it or havea2-3 gigcachejust for it to be even playable.[QUOTE="Deevoshun"]

I got the Ps3 version first, got the platinum trophy, and later got the 360 version to play multiplayer with some friends. From my experience the 360 version is better overall; higher resolution, better textues, longer draw distance, and a more stable framerate.
This Face-off article from Digital Foundry compares the two versions well: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-red-dead-redemption-face-off

Xbox360 is better.
For future reference 90% of multiplats look better on Xbox 360 the other 10% they are equal.
please refrain from pulling percentages out of your ***.
EDIT: just so you know, quite a few multiplats are better on the ps3.
yes but most on the Xbox360.
PS3 has exclusive content, where as the 360 looks marginally better. Take your pick.Stevo_the_gamer
it all depends on how you word it.
PS3 has exclusive content, Xbox360 looks marginally better.
PS3 has exclusive content, Xbox360 looks better.
PS3 has slightly small extra content , Xbox360 has the better frame rate, draw distance and looks better.

I don't understand what you mean, nonetheless, I thought the game was highly overrated, found it tedious and boring. literally had to force myself to finish the game. then again, this is just my opinion.i've played both versions and the 360 is the way to go. better framerate, it upscales a lot better (like all multiplats), sharper with better textures and draw distance.
Get whichever version you have more mates playing on. The 360 version is technically superior and the PS3 version has more content but honestly you wont notice it unless you're playing both at the same time.
Hell i had the 360 version of FFXIII and it being technically worse than the PS3 version had absolutely zero impact on my enjoyment.
