Why don't you put up a list of games your excited for? Instead of just crying and trying to justify why your on this forum wasting your time instead of playing all your awesome AAAA titles for 2008.

Well then in your opinion which console is leading the way in 08? I'm leaning towards the Wii but since there isn't much to look forward to for the second half, Socom/R2/LBP will push the PS3 over the top.

Didnt u and alot of other lemmings (not all) also say MGS4 will be a flop here? Dude I could give a crap whos year it is, all I can say is there are great games for every system and thats all that matters.

I do believe that the PS3 is doing fine so far, what with an Exclusive AAAA in the bag so far. I'm sure there's a couple of AAA's coming out towards the 2nd half of the year also

they pushed back alan wake and Splinter cell conviction those are wort noting because i am sure myself and many other people are waiting for these games.

The year so far beats the 360's. NG2 is their best game, 8.0. PS3 has MLB the show which beats that and not to mention metal gear, which got a 10. (taking gamerankings/metacritic into account it got a 94 but that still beats any 360 exclusive this year to my knowledge)

As for the rest of the year, time will tell. Lems claimed NG2 was their "foolproof AAA" and look how that turned out. LBP an Resistance are looking pretty good, and I'm sure other games will come out around that time. Too Human is a mixed bag considering its spotty history, and Gears 2 is looking good. Fable 2 will be a good game but will dissapoint like every other Monolaeux game ever made. So there only time will tell for the 2nd half, their pretty equal for now.

Well MGS4 is enough to make the first half of 08 PS3's but with games like Gears of war 2 coming out later on, i'm saying the second half will go to 360. As for the pushbacks, cows are used to waiting

Well I am waiting for more games to come out for the ps3 and I am also going to wait for GEoW 2 to come out for the PC.

This year's lineup so far has been really great solely due to GTAIV and MGSIV and I still think PS3 has the edge for the latter half of the year...

From what's announced, it also looks to have a better 2009 lineup. I don't see why this is so surprising though, MS came out a year early and released most of their big guns already, whereas everything for the PS3 was delayed.

Of Course 2008 is the Year of the PS3.

360's 2008 looks pretty meh to me. GTA and MGS were enough to make the ps3 great this year, I dont really care about 1-time-playthrough games like Too Human and Alan Wake.

I don't see why cows went and hyped up '08 when most of the better exclusive games were TBA and due sometime late in '08 and would obviously be pushed to '09. They mucked it up for all of us.

On a better note, I've been hyping up '09 even before "cows hyping up '08" became a cliche here.

Sidenote here - I own a PS3 with zero games. (all my PS3 & some X360 games games comes off Gamefly). I have yet to see a single PS3 game that warrants a purchase. Of course, you would disagree - but, what we're talking about here, is entirely subjective. You can't say that's a better list of games when the majority of the games you listed have not even released yet. It's nice to speculate that they'll be worthwhile titles - but come on, nothing is gauranteed. I'll guess that half the titles you listed will receive an average score of 43% on Gamerankings. :P
