The survey covered 1,672 people aged 18 and over who took part in the poll. News Flash the Wii only sold 1,672 units in the UK! Wait a second......Konxumer
That's how surveys work. They take big enough sample of people, who represent the majority of the userbase. Of course there is always a margin of error, but it isn't big. If survey is done well, it gives quite accurate numbers.
It will never drop in price, so good luck. SMG 1 still retails for 50 dollars.I haven't played a legit Wii game on my Wii since SMG. I will get 2 when it drops in price, but otherwise it's a N64 player for me! :D

0% Percent Use. =/ My 360 is getting there and my PS3 most likely will be turned on a few times only. =( I have too many games to finish >.> on my PC and every time I turn on one of my consoles, I get bored Very fast. Esp. my 360.ShadowDeathX:roll: when one doesn't own a system they can't exactly play it, claimng otherwise tends to cause a problem. but thats system wars for you.
does Ocarina of Time on virtual console count?
technically it is a N64 game but I am playing it on Wii.
Probably about 2 months since I have used mine. It only gets used for exclusives really.Marka1700
lol well that's all it really has.
Some one doesn't know how statistics work. You take a random subset of a population. As long as you are random with your picking of the people that you interview, it should give a fairly accurate depiction of the whole population.1,672 ppl is not half of the UK Wii owners. Misleading title TC

Now selecting more people will always get you a more accurate answer. But it probably isn't very far off the acutual number. If it was a real scientific study they would have error bars so it should read something along the lines of 50% with a standard deviation of 10 or so %. So it could be 40% of Wii owners don't use their Wii in the last 6 months, or 60% of Wii owners haven't used their Wii in the last 6 months.
Indeed now people are jumping on the Kinect bandwagon. Easy sales.Jumping on the bandwagon is awesome, isn't it??

That may be true of a typical consensus survey, but if it's an online one the results would likely be more inaccurate considering the state of fanboyism and anonymous liars to be accounted for on the internet.REPORT: 99% of system wars users don't click the link before commenting:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Of those who had not used the Wii in the last six month:
41 percent: Didn't have the time
29 percent: The Novelty has worn off
22 percent: moved onto Kinect or PlayStation Move
----------------------------------------------------------------------
(emphasis mine)
So of those who say they don't use their Wii, nearly half don't have the time for it. I'm guessing those people don't have much time for any other consoles either. Presumably they have jobs.
You lot are acting like 50% of Wii owners have upgraded to Move/Kinect. But it says right there 22%, and that's out of the 48% who say they don't use the Wii anymore. In other words 147 out of 1672 people. Wow.
(EDIT: just realised that should be 48% out of the 1070 Wii owners, not the whole lot, so the maths is wrong. But you get the idea.)
I also suspect, given the poll was run by myvouchercodes, that most of the respondents were soccer mums. In what other demographic would you find 39% of people who still play Wii fit?
And this boys and girls, is why polls and statistics are useless for any meaningful argument.
