RE is dead to me. They needed to go back to the old style years ago, I'm talkin' RE2 style.

RE4 was awesome but 5 was abysmal and I want more slow, creepy survival horror style.

I thoughr RE;R would make me want a 3DS but it doesn't. It just makes me wish RE would return to its roots...

gsus dude, the game has gone back to it's roots...revelations clearly shows this within gameplay/atmosphere. puzzles, exploration and limited ammo is all there from what i've read and seen.

capcom's raping all their main franchises for whats left of them :( and its not good RE has been in a decline this gen and Street Fighters well Street fighter its still good and still following the same release schedules as 2 and 3.

But they really need to buck up their act on the DLC and Resi front.

As long as they don't change their leadership, that's not going to happen. Their mindset is clear: Some people will pay for patches, again and again. The focus has shifted from delivering to taking. Those people will ruin their company, if not financially they will ruin it gaming wise. Their only hope is to get new leaders, probably less economists who think about money but don't know games.

I was expecting it to say on the 80~90 mark on metacritic because of the many very good previews I've seen. So this bad review is a surprise, but there is hope still.

Games TM is a lot like Edge IMO, that when they have a stick up their ass about some game they definitely don't mind going really low to score stuff, it's kind of refreshing if you ask me, critics can be too kind these days, but I always look to see what lots of reviewers have to say before making a decision about what to think. They're a good magazine though, in the US they cost a lot more since they have to import magazines from the UK but they're pretty loaded with content.

Dude, I've been a regular reader of gamestm for years, and while they are definitely to be taken seriously, they're not up there with GS reviews. Plus, you have to admit that the RE:R review reads like total crap. No thoughts on gameplay? Progression? Atmosphere? Please.

PC does everything better than dedicated devices.
