Resident Evil 2 Remake officially confirmed by Capcom

That's so amazing...i mean only 10 years late, and i would be much more...well at least kind of excited if i still were into RE like i was 10 years ago.

I still own the original.. that's good enough for me.

Great news. Have fun killing zombies and giant buglike creatures and I think a giant alligator is in it too. Its a pretty good game.

I meant more along the lines of a continuation of Resident Evil's story, I feel that Capcom is focusing too much on re-makes and games set in-between the main entries.

Meh.

If they messed this up there will be a horrible backlash, lol. Hopefully it will be a good quality remake.

Oh, yeah. Its been a while since RE6. Honestly, I want them to reboot the series after they're done with REmake 2(& hopefully 3). Fresh new start, with new characters, story line, & gameplay mechanics.

Would be interesting to play as an Umbrella scientist trying to escape the lab after a fallout. Add some npc characters to spice things up, build some suspense, & paranoia à la The Thing. Multiple outcomes with a decision system like in RE3, with more noticeable effects based on the choices you make. Like different paths with new enemies, & boss fights. Obviously the main character has to write in his/her diary, how else will anyone know what happened down there. :3

I would say hes better in the design department and if I recall Nemesis was more of a constant threat then MR.X.
