how it is even possible my friend? i couldnot play past hour or 2. and i played the best version that is HD remastered 2012 version on PC. and game still suck.

you cant walk while shooting is such a lazy design. plus insane amount of QTE and bad controlling..

RE2 remake is billion times better than RE2. not to mention 7 is also better.

Not being able to walk while shooting works great for this game. If you'd be able to do so, the game would've been a cakewalk. They could've done it balanced for walking and shooting by having more aggressive enemies, but that would make it into another kind of game. I understand if you'd prefer that, but it still doesn't make RE4 bad for what it is. Bad controlling? Compared to earlier RE games, it isn't even funny how good RE4 controls.

I'm no fan of QTEs either, but RE4 at least manages to make them memorable and they don't destroy the game too much. Now, I could explain to you exactly why I think the game is awesome, but it feels like it would be wasted energy. You played the beginning of the game, and base your "terrible game" opinion on those 1-2 hours you played it. I deem your opinion invalid.

Re2 Remake being better than the original... Jury is still out for me. I think there are some highs and lows of both. Im still working my way through

Oh man, I forgot this existed. It made my day back then and it just made my day, again. And, it's so true. RE6 is easily the worst if you don't count the goofy Raccoon City spin-offs.

Definitely the worst mainline game. The end of that video really does say it all, where it just continues to follow Chris. Describing it just doesn't do it justice lol.

RE6 is just so bad, it was disappointing by Capcom.

The RE story was getting stupidly "out there" even for a zombie story, but RE6 just took that high-dive right off the top board. It sucks, cos the Leon campaign gameplay should have been used throughout, and that's quite similar to what the new RE2 became.

What I really love about Resident Evil 2's remake is that they keep the earnestness of Resident Evil 2 regardless of how improbable this shit is. Everyone (of note Marvin) give a stellar performance and take it seriously, and it feels like they we (the player) are witnessing a percentage of a larger story that has already happened than being the driving force.

Leon in particular is a completely different character from 4 onward. He's basically Ash from The Evil Dead in 4, in on the joke.

And then in 6, reverted back to a serious tone, but so over the fucking over the top Roger Moore era antics, it just cannot be taken seriously.

RE2 (and RE2), get it bang on the mark.

I kinda agree with him . I also cant get into RE4 remastered. It's just ugly, controls are clunky, the story is stupid and the action is just pew pew. I don't know when the real horror or interesting story starts. For now it just...sucks.

I mean the US president daughter is missing and they just send one guy? If a plane with the US president daughter crashed, they would send a fucking army as a rescue team.

And the spanish people in the game are presented ugly and stupid as hell. I know Spain and speak Spanish fluently, seeing Spanish folk as villains made me cringe a lot.

Speaking of Evil Dead, Leon's transformation from Resident Evil 2 to Resident Evil 4 reminds me of Ash's transformation from Evil Dead 1 to Evil Dead 2. The way they start off as just some ordinary guy struggling to survive the evil in RE2/ED1, before transforming into a lone badass action hero beating up monsters while spitting one-liners in RE4/ED2.

Not a fan of RE. Played 1 and 4 a bit when i was younger. But isnt 4 considered one of the best in the series? What kind of trash is this.

Anyone who thinks Resident Evil 4 is the worst game in the series has not played many Resident Evil games.

5 wasn't the greatest. 6 was worse.

Even though it's not purely survival horror, 4 is one of the best Resident Evil games.

I definitely prefer pure survival horror. That's what the first 3 games were. I've played probably most RE games and I'm aware of the better ones and worse ones. 0, Revelations and Code Veronica are better ones as well.

Resident Evil 4 has probably the best paced and designed campaign I have ever played. It's easily one of my favorite games of all time and I can't wait for the HD remaster

RE4 is one of the top three games ever made in my opinion. It ranked as my favorite game ever for a while.

RE4 is an objectively phenomenal game. It succeeds in pretty much everything it sets out to do flawlessly, and to this day it's still as good as it was on release. I mean c'mon.....it allows the killing of Ashley, which was much needed given how incredibly annoying she was. I'm eagerly awaiting the completion of RE4 HD Project before my next playthrough.

But guys. You can't shoot while walking. Terrible game.
