See, the Wii is showing its power now. Much better looking than Gamecube version.

Who said it was improved?
I thought the reticule was always showed in the Wii version...and I don't see it in any screen. I think they are all GC screens. Both versions look the same through.
I'm not sure what you're trying to do...but still lame thread.
Aren't those screens from the PC version?Luigi_Vincetana
Well if it's true that they are in 720p like another poster said then I see no other explanation.
And BTW: Isn't RE4 Wii a complete port of the GC version (graphically that is
Actually on closer inspection, those are PC version screens (you can tell from the 1280x720p resolutions and from the weak lighting ripped from the PS2 version). Also, if I'm not mistaken, those are doctored promo shots too.Who said it was improved?

Okay they are PC, but they are not doctored. Direct screencap from retail PC version.
What am I trying to say with this thread? I don't know. But would've been nice if the Wii had some sort of visual upgrade. I have no idea what is wrong with Nintendo and Capcom.

What you were trying to do is get sheep to say "YES! IT DOES LOOK BETTER!!" so you could say they are PC screens.
Nice try... you tried this yesterday with Harry Potter.
I see. I think the GCN version looks better then that anyway (sure the higher resolution makes everything look cleaner but the GCN version still has better lighting and textures).Okay they are PC, but they are not doctored. Direct screencap from retail PC version.

What's up with you?
You seem very intelligent, but all I'm seeing from you lately are threads like this. First Harry Potter and now Resident Evil. Why do you feel the need to try to trick people? Just come out and say, there is no need for these tricks. They make you look bad and less reliable in the long run.

TC....that's just filthy bro...c'mon now.
 I have never seen this tactic before in SW
That's the PC version with some of the graphics settings turned down.
Wii cant do that resolution and Anti-aliasing.
There's nothing wrong with Capcom. However, Nintendo gets the award for being the first console maker in history to design a console that has no noticeable difference in graphics over it's predecessor.Okay they are PC, but they are not doctored. Direct screencap from retail PC version.

Personally I think it's ridiculous that they charge $250 for it when a Gamecube costs $99 anda Wiimote costs $40

Indeed. Pretty easy to see right through after seeing other posts from this user. Pretty pathetic. Loses credibility with anything he says around here.[QUOTE="PhoebusFlows"]Okay they are PC, but they are not doctored. Direct screencap from retail PC version.

If I come out with it openly I would get flamed, like I often have. A bit of calculated deception seems to send the same messagehome yet protects me from vicious sheep bites. I've been forced to take this fox-like route, what can I say.
All of that aside, I really am wondering. Why wasn't there an upgrade for Wii when there was one for PC, which came out months earlier? it just doesnt make sense.

Just come out and say it please.
No matter what you say will get you flamed and at least if you come out and say it the intelligent posters won't call you out on your deceptions. That way you would stand a much better chance at starting a worthwhile thread. However, with this method it's going to turn into a wasteland as soon as you it "Submit". Especially now that people are going to be looking for you to do so.

Oh! Oh! I know! I know! Pick me!
Is it because the Wii has last-gen technology?
This is just stupid anyone that has played the RE4 on Gcn will know that that is not the Wii (as the Wii version is built on the gcn) version because the zombies or plaga inffected villagers are lacking a big amount of poligons next to their respective gcn/Wii counterpart as well as the horrible lack of ambient lightning.
Fact is that the only thing good in those screenshots is the high resolution nothing more, because the game it self look much worse.
