Resident Evil 5 is going to make this generation its b****

RE4 was arguably the best game of the last generation, and is widely regarded to be one of the greatest games of all time.

RE5 looks to up the ****ing ante with hot new graphics, amazing new weapons, and a horrifying new setting, with unknown terrors lurking around every corner.

It's still way to early to even predict GOTG, but if I had to choose from the currently announced games, I'd pick RE5.

Is it badass? Damn straight.

Is it kickass? You know it.

Will it be the GOTG? As of now, it seems like the best possible choice.

All this talk of Halo 3, and ME, and KZ2, that's nice and all, but when the rubber hits the road, this will be the game that straps on the boots of badassery, and gets the damn job done.

You want them to completely change already awesome gameplay after one game?

Dude, come one, yeah the basic gameplay will be the same, but it's the new setting and undoubtedly amazing bosses that will define this game.

There will be tons of new stuff. Don't expect anthing other than the basic gameplay to be familiar.

The way they surround you from all angles? Wow.

And the light/dark and heat mechanics alone should make this more than a typical action game.

It just looks like theygave RE4 a makeover and swaped Leon with Chris, that is so far. They will probably reveal more as the time comes, but right now it reminds me of RE4 a lot.

Idk man...im prolly one of RE4's biggest fans and followers, its my vote for best game of all time cuz it revolutionized third person shooters with how it played and being so fresh and new i prolly played through story mode about 20 times..so i should be extremely hyped for 5 right??

well i am in a way but no where near as much as 4 because so far 5 looks exactly like 4 with AMAZING new graphics that are the best ive seen this gen yet for consoles but it so far seems like re4 with better graphics and a new setting

Expect Capcom to reveal alot more about this game in the months to come.

Also, the Heat and light/dark mechanics sound quite fresh and innovative... and I'm sure that's just the beginning.

oh same here, its a day one automatic buy for me no matter what and im sure they'll at least add something, im just waiting for that info now, it seems like the light dark mechanic is just gonna be a really refined version of hdr having your eyes adjust more realistically to a dark room or bright outside
