Resident Evil 6 appears to be coming to XSX/PS5!

Oh snap, I never played this one because it got trashed a lot. Is it worth playing, SW? Have you played it? Want to play it?

It’s all over the place but I had fun with it.

You can already play them on those systems though so I wonder what exactly they are doing to it.

I liked it, finished all the campaigns and found it fun.

@lamprey263: probably not by a lot. They won't be reworking any gameplay. Most they'll do is add some graphical or ray tracing effects which ReEngine now supports.

I bought it a long time ago when it was practically free on Switch. The SP campaigns were worth playing but it felt much different than other games in the series. The MP wasn't bad either.

Tried replaying it on PC last year and couldn't bring myself to continue. It went true RE nonsense after 5 and the boulder-punching/Wesker Superman crazy, but it was enjoyable for what it was.

It's good to see the bandwagon fall apart on this one.

If you'd asked this closer to release, everyone would have said the game was awful. Nowadays, even the die-hard Reisdent Evil forums are mellowing out about it, and it's generally liked (but rarely loved).

It's a fun action game with tons of content and great co-op gameplay. It's not much of a horror game, but hey, neither is 5 or much of 4.

I'll also add that this game had a great multiplayer option where you could control an enemy on another player's game. You would be able to use their moves and attack the player, and when you die then you spawn back in another enemy that's alive.

It's very cool to be able to mess with other players, and if you're the player, then it makes means the enemies have interesting behavior because humans could control them.

It's not mandatory to play with this enabled, but it's an awesome feature that more games should have.

That game gets no love from Capcom and it literally offends me.

Half of Resident Evil 6 is a pretty enjoyable game (if you quickly grab the perk to lessen QTEs) the other half is actually awful, even in coop.

Mercenaries is pretty good, it's just not as good as Raid in Revelations 2.

the one resi evil i never played. even bought it, years ago. still haven't popped it in.
