Great news although I would be wary; Capcom for surely will release like 2 more editions of Racoon City like Racoon City Gold and then Ultimate Racoon City.

Basically gonna be dope as fvck. Squad based TPS gameplay, getting overwhelmed by zombies and tyrants and Nemesis along with some new enemies so you gotta move quick and stuff, using teamwork, shoot an enemy to make him bleed to attract zombies (MP). Special abilities for some squad members, you can kill Leon Kennedy, etc.

Totally unorganized thought, but those are some highlights of the top of my head. Personally I'm so stoked.

It like a retelling of the events of the Raccoon City outbreak where you play as officers of Umbrella Secret Service (orgoverment spec ops in MP)with what if situations like if you kill Leon.

Not even close. If that's what you're after.

However, it is awesome, and it will be fun. Much better shooting mechanics than Re4 and Re5 (not hard to improve here really)

There is no "teh horror" in Resident Evil after experiencing Amnesia

But I still like the gameplay of the series.

If this is L4D in third person then I might be less inclined to buy it.

Meh don't know if it going to be awesome, but I sure it will be fun. Looks pretty unpolished through but it Slant Six so I won't be surpise if it needs alot of fixing when it comes out.

Is it meant to be any good?! I haven't played any Resident Evil game before but I would like to try 6. biggest_loser

It's quite different from the usual RE series as it's online focused. It's more akin to a poor mans L4D. It may be good though, I've yet to see

I wouldn't call it that.

While indeed there are zombie hordes and special enemies like Tyrant and Nemesis, you're going to be manuevering through all of these obstacles while at the same time battling another squad of players.

Add individual squad abilities into the mix and you got yourself one crazy ass firefight of zombies, soldiers, and Tyrants. To me, that just sounds amazing.

It's different yes, and I am most likely buying it but it doesn't seem like an amazing game like L4D was in terms of level design and balance. Well Valve are master at that anyway.

But it looks very fun, I want more games MP modes with asymmetrical type of play
