Not only am I not in the beta but I have to wait exactly 4 weeks for the game to come out in the UK.

yes it is, its a mess too, way too overcrowded, we need alot bigger maps and when someone dies they should not respawn right in the battle. games like cod4 are way superior to R2

I agree... Co-op's good, but team deathmatches got old first 2 minutes in.

That same magazine gave R:FOM 7/10.

Also, they stated the reason it docked a point. They didn't have the final MP build. I wonder how much of an improvement the final retail version will be? Signs look good so far.

I agree. I'm having more fun than Resistance: Fall of Man AND Call of Duty 4 combined.

Resistance 2 Beta is amazing. Alot of people have been claiming the Carb has been "nerfed" because it has a far slower fire rate, but I think its 100x better now. I luv its fire speed, and it packs a much bigger punch! The magnum's second fire is awesome but sumthing feels a tad bit off. I dunno if its because the explosive shells do too much dmg or they dont do enough, just sumthing doesnt feel right.

In a previous post I said "I wish you knew how long you had til berserker mode and how long it will last", well I was a noob...there is a big bar that shows all your berserker stats :P I havent really used the new Saw Gun, but my lil bro is in luv with it so I guess its pretty good. A gun that seems a lil under powered is the Marksman. With the slower gameplay of R2, people tend to have alot more health so you can take a few shots and still run away and heal up (I like how the health recharge kicks in fast this time around , it means u spend more time killing rather than waiting on ur health). The problem with the marksman is that as soon as you "snipe" sumone, they run away thus making your kill harder, but the FarEye is 1 hit head shot sexiness :D

Also im luving the size of the levels. Everyone like Orich Cali, but personally, I think Chicago is where its at! I luv all the tall buildings ready for sniping. And skirmish is great and plays better than i thought. Its not out of hand and you mostly face 5-10 people at the same time, but there are times when everyone has to pass through the same area, and thats when it gets wild. You have 60 people in one area firing at each other...great fun!

Co-op is a blast. I like how its actually very challenging and you cant just mow through it. If people dont play their part, you will wipe. And i luv the armor upgrades and weapon upgrades you can get, its great fun! Overall, just going from MP alone, its a definite AAA (9.0) :D

Thanx :D And I agree with what you said about the Marksman. I luv the gun to death, but i dont use it anymore in competetive MP. Maybe if they buff it up a bit, not too much, just a bit more, then it will be a viable weapon, until then, I'll prolly avoid it. But i like its secondary fire. Its not that strong, but you shoot it out and when people get shot they dont know where its coming from so they run like mad, ussually out into the open and into my crosshairs :D But the magnum is bad ass. I luv using it, even if it feels like it needs to be tweaked a bit. But i personally think the Carbine steals the show. Sure you cant "snipe" with it like in R1 but its so sexy at close/medium range

I hate when you play with people who dont know wat they are doing though. I hate when im the tank and I call out for an ammo drop because my shield power is running low and the Spec-Ops guy decides to start jumping around. Or when the heals decide that they would rather whip out their carb and DPS rather than heal (although u cant really blame them seeing as how sexy the carb is )

The beta has given me lots of hope for this game, the only thing I hate is when you're playing a coop game and no one is helping each other, I'm either a soldier always running out of ammo, and no one helps me, or im a speciaol ops and I never have a medic to help me, there's a lot of coordination needed and I've only had a good team like 1 out of every 4 or 5 games.lantus

for the record i don't like gears and i think it's ridiculous that every X claim against a game for the PS3 = Y comment about gears 2... they're totally different games.

The most annoying part in this game that really ticks me the **** off are those burning cars.

If you get near them, it'll burn half of your life and your a one-bullet fish in a barrel.

Best multiplayer of the year easily. I can´t believe how good the gameplay is and the graphics just are like the icing on the cake.
