i just finished playing the co-op level in the beta and i was just blown away. this feels like a mix. it's co-op feels like the halo, and the online feels like a cross between halo and COD4. it has so far exceeded my expectations for this game, and it actually made me stop playing cs1.6 for 3 hours

I always help out my team. I usually play Spec-Ops, and I'm always throwing my ammo boxes. If I play Medic, I'm always trying to heal. I really don't like playing assault.

I like spec ops the best also, because you never run out of ammo if you do your job, and you keep your party maintained. The best thing to do is stick together so the soldiers can keep the others protected, and spec ops and healers can keep everyone replenished. The party needs a good balance though, I only like being a soldier if there isn't enough and were not dealing enough damage
its definately smooth and yes lag free but i think some small improvement should really me made, like the bosses in the beta in co-op have to much health. why am i shotting at 1 for for over 5minutes and he basically stays in the small spot or area.

yes it is, its a mess too, way too overcrowded, we need alot bigger maps and when someone dies they should not respawn right in the battle. games like cod4 are way superior to R2
Orick with 60 players is fine. We haven't seen the other maps large versions. But I'm guessing that Chicago will be fine also because the subway section is locked off for the 40player matches. If you add the subway and the rest of Chicago you have more than enough room.
COD4 isn't superior to R2 online. Judging from the beta, I think R2 > COD4 and Halo 3 for multiplayer.
Co-op just gets boring a few minutes in.......I like how many enemies there are on screen...but the core gameplay mechanic...the shooting......is so underwhelming...I don't think it should take 50 headshots to take down a grunt....so everyone just stands around unloading 100's of rounds into an enemy..and the bigger bosses...don't get started..
I guess I was expecting more...I would like to dive into some SP and see if I like it more..

Co op is fun when everyone is not trying to be freaking rambo. I actually enjoy being a medic. I honestly thought that class would suck alot.finalfantasy94
that would be me lol. as a level 27 soldier i just jump in put on the shield and destroy the thing im trying to kill. altho with the monsters with stars over their heads i need medics because the shield doesnt cut it anymore. i also like jumping in because if you survive everyone with a mic goes "OMFG HOW TEH **** DID HE DO THAT??!?!"
