Resistance 2 Game Mode Features

Moreover, it's good to see RE2 getting new features, but, as I read in a magazine couple a days ago "Yeah, Resistance 2 has a great deal of new features and better graphics, but that, in all honesty, doesn't say much"...

Gears sets itself apart only because it's one of the first TPS games that proved to be fun, especially online. The SP sucked big time and there is nothing new gears 2 is doing.

Also, even gerstmann said it himself: Gears 2 does almost nothing new from gears 1! Almost all the critics there seem to be only wanting gears 2 because they loved gears 1. There isin't anything new that it is doing.

Also, what games had 8 player online co-op? Please elaborate :lol: I'll give you extra points if the game has cIasses. ;)

again you misunderstand. im not talking about features im talking about what makes the game distinct. there is nothing about resistance that stands out. the main character is boring, the enemies are boring, the story was told through really boring narration to a backdrop.

AND A BIG LOL @ you thinking gears sp sucked. Yes it 9.6/10 sucked, sucked so bad that it outscores mgs4 on gamerankings. Gerstmann didn't say that they did almost nothing new he said that it could be gears 1.5 and it would still be awesome.

And about that 8 player coop. there's a certain game.. almost a decade old with 8 player coop.. its called diablo 2...

Umm, Gears of War's SP campaign did suck. The game was overpraised simply because its visuals. The multiplayer was okay, but the weapon system wasn't as balanced as it should have been.

so on one hand cows say the sp sucked, and on the other the mp sucked because it was buggy and glitchy. so what is it? how did gears get 9.6/10 and a higher metacritic/gr score than mgs4?

Don't even try, the cows cannot explain anything. They're sad fanboys that would come up with something like "Yeah, but GameSpot is the merely that counts, because it ends in -Spot! And it has dark blackground!1"

I've always wondered why no one has done so. Fanboys are quick to call it Halo 1.5 afterall.

Closest thing to Gears on the PS3 is probably MGS4 and the only thing they have in common is the cover system.
