Resistance 3 will pwn every other FPS when it comes out !

This of course is my opinion, but I believe Resistance 3 will blow us all away because alot of people were disapointed in R2 even though I thought it was an amazing game, it just has so much to improve on and with a good developer like Insomniac I believe that it could stand a good chance of being just as popular as call of duty and as good as halo and half life !

I hope so... loved RFoM and while R2 is not that bad, it was indeed a disappointment

the game might be solid for a Console Shooter,but I have a feeling it wont be making anyone forget about Deus Ex anytime soon ;)

ehh...Both Killzone 2 and the Resistance games are generic...they're by no means horrible..but to me me,they're just typical run of the mill FPS games.

I thought campaign of R1 was a lot better than R2. Multiplayer for R2 was the best thing about the game. If they can improve campaign and keep multiplayer of the same quality, I will be happy.

Resistance is a great series and is the best exclusive shooter series on the ps3 but i dont know about it blowing away all other shooters.I am a fan of resistance but i think sonys controller really holds that series back along with all other shooters on the ps3.The sony controller really annoys me when it comes to shooters.I hate the trigger and analog placements.Also im not the biggest fan of psn.Other than psn and the controller i really do love the resistance series and ill definatly have resistance 3 when it comes out even though the controller hampers the experience for me.I really do like the ps3 and they really have been pumping out some great games over the last couple of years but like i said that damn controller is behind the times.

Resistance is a second-rate FPS franchise IMO, so I doubt it'll own anything.

I firmly believe that Resistance: FoM benefited hugely from there being almost nothing to play on the PS3 at and near launch time. I think the drought of games made people look at Resistance: FoM in a more positive light than they would have done had it been released at a time in which lots of great games were being released. I think Resistance is much like Perfect Dark Zero in that praise for it was more a result of when it was released than anything else.

Even if it is overrated, it's still a hell of a lot better than any Resistance game will ever be.

The resistance franchise is great, but the 3rd will have to redifined and overhauled if they want a smash hit.

I hated both Resistance games as far as campaigns. Highly generic, dull gunplay, uninspired game design from top to bottom. Multiplayer and Coop were what made Resistance 2 so much fun though(still wouldn't agree with a 9.0 though, but it's better than that sack of crap fall of man). I'm not getting my hopes up for R3. It's not my cup of tea at this point, and I don't think it has a snowball's chance in hell of actually being as good as Crysis 2 or Halo Reach(not in reviews. I fully expect it to get AAA reviews, but hey I could don't give a rat's ass about that now do I?)jg4xchamp

I bet its aggregate score will be a good deal lower than Reach's or Crysis 2's. In fact, I'd wager that Resistance 3 will have am 86 aggregate score just like the other two. I don't expect Insomniac to freshen or meaningfully improve on the series after Ratchet and Clank being so stagnant for so long. Naughty Dog they ain't.

Resistance 1 was a nice game , nothing groudbraking but i enjoyed it overall , Resistance 2 was crap , i played it for 2 hours but never finished it .

Reach, Crysis 2 and KZ3 > Resistance

R1 and 2 bored me.
