I love how people always grossly overexaggerate. A game that scores a 9 can never be outright terrible. Clearly it did some things right and even if you disliked it you should beable to achknowledge that.

I love them (the first especially). They are extremely well-made FPS games that just don't break any new ground. Of course they don't get love in SW because it mainly consists of Halo, COD, and KZ fans.

I like Resistance more than Halo and KZ.But I agree.The first one was better.
More looking forward to KZ3 personally. Thought the Resistance games were decent but nothing special. The single player was good but the multiplayer was super weak.

One could easily argue that Resistance is just as good as it's competition, but where it lacks in popularity the others have bucketloads. Hopefully R3 ends up selling extremely well and invites alot of new-comers.

Resistance steadily improves each sequel. So this 3rd one may correct fundamental errors that were present in the first two games. For example the horrible frame skipping animations (melee and character movement) or how the aiming was always sub par compared to CoD or Halo.

And just because you hated it doesnt make it universally bad. Your opinion = / = fact. And besides, seeing as the games sold 1mil+, I'm guessing a lot of people are excited about this. If this was like the destruction of one of ur favorite franchises, I could understand the hate, but this is the continuation of a franchise u never even cared about...so just ignore it....
It's not arrogant for them to have pride in their creation and believe it's 9/10 quality. They play and develop it and in their minds that's what it is.
