Yeah, me too. It was wayyy behind LBP and behind GeoW2 as my choice for games to buy soon. Now Resistance 2 is up there w/ GeoW2 of which games I might buy. Only one I reserved and started paying for so far is LBP though which beats them both.

I was going to go with gears 2 and maybe left4dead, but now i think its gonna be gears and r2

Yeah, I'm budgeting myself right now for living expenses while I'm at school. L4D is definite for PC, LBP is PS3, and I'm deciding if I should dish out money for one of those or both. GAHHHH it's so difficult to decide.

I'm getting it to make stages.. LBP retro Mario stages, here they come.

EHh this game does look good in small parts. I will give it too resistance 2 for the lush colors but the textures are below average and man o man the explosions look like they were ripped from the ps2 and put in the game. And the events look so scripted. Escecially with those big beasts. The events look so scripted. And the enemy AI is decent. Sorry for the halo3 comparision but i have to compare it too it since its the most similar game i can find on the 360 and has much better AI and still manages to put in a plethora of lush colors much more then Res2. This game screams average ill wait till reviews.hak145

Halo 3 was heavily scripted. Halo 3 AI was easier than Resistance1 AI. Actually, the AI for Halo 3 seemed the same for legendary and hard apart from the fact that shields depleted a lot quicker while R1 on higher difficulties, the AI tried flanked a whole lot more. I'm even going to say that R1 still has one of the best AI for an FPS on consoles this gen. I admit AI looked a little weak in the vids, probably because its on normal difficulty, and also it's not one of those stages where groups of enemies were in really attempting to attack you.

The in-game graphics don't look all too good. They're decent, but I expected more. The A.I. also looks a bit on the iffy side.

Did you just say Halo 3 has better AI than Resistance? Oh man, that is sig worthy. Play Resistance first...please. Lol, Halo 3 good AI? **** grunts doing nothing but running in circles waving their arms or suicide rushing you with plasmas. Frigging brutes don't do anything but play hide and seek behind cover. That game has borderline garbage AI. Resistance 1 you have to deal with enemies who actually work together (its funny since all the enemies you encounter in Halo are pretty much in squads, but they sure as hell don't act like it). You can't hide behind stuff because you'll get augered, while the lesser chimera flank you.

And again with the damn colors. Halo 3 doesn't take place on earth, which means it can use all sorts of bizarre colors to bring the environments to life. Resistance meanwhile takes place on earth...where the grass is always green and the sky is always blue. You start coloring the game with neon and hot colors and it no longer looks realistic.

Who was the one saying this game can't be passed as a 'large game.'

Now thats what I call a sequel, unlike Gears of War 1.5, some new weapons, 5vs5 instead of 4vs4, some bugs will be fixed (which should be fixed in the original game), a couple of new enemies, slightly better visuals.kingfire11

Actually FAR better graphics,70 multiplayer maps,60 players online and alot more.
