Fact check: So far the only 900p Playstation 4 game is Battlefield 4. Everything else that's been released is 1080p.

There are rumors that the Witcher 3 might be 900p, and if true, that would be the second Playstation 4 game that runs at sub-1080p.

Fact check, like no ps4 games are 60fps. But when an overpriced version of tomb raider came out.. apparently anything less than 60fps is unacceptable. Ignoring the fact tomb raider is more like 45fps during actual gameplay. Shhh cows, goto sleep.

Both have done 1080p. Still, they are markedly lackluster. I was using 1080p when I originally built my gaming rig, which was 6-7 or so years ago.

I think you've confused "facts" with "tales from your ass". There are definitely 1080p / 60fps games on the Playstation 4. Resogun is one of them.

It's technically not solely about 1080p specifically, it's about the difference between the boxes. 900p is still superior to 720p on the Xbone.

If they were both the same, on all multiplat games, there wouldn't be an issue. 900p still shows that the PS4 can handle that particular game better than the Xbone therefore the point is still relevant.

Pretty sure I've played games both on PS4 and Wii U in glorious 1080p, so your thread title is flat out wrong.

These card range from £300-800, if they was running at the same settings as console that would be embarrassing. Still shows that most hermits aren't maxing out their games with ease.

Why would you even benchmark Sleeping Dogs with supersampling enabled? That's like benchmarking The Witcher 2 with ubersampling at max. Those options are frame-killers with a very slight return in visual quality.

If you want a fair comparison you need only look at BF4 benchmarks, and compare its performance on different GPUs to the performance of the console versions.

Not running games the highest setting with a constant 60fps.Never said it wasn't better than what consoles are capable of. Looks like sacrifices have to be made on PC as well unless you have an unlimited budget(and maybe even then).

Seems like that comes down to personal preference.I'm sure there PC gamers that not satisfied with any thing less than absolute best settings. I am constant seeing PC gamers claim they are running games at MAX settings with 60fps and that shows the majority them are lying. Looks they are comparing to console and not what the the game is actually capable of on PC. Its all relative. Also that is kind of disappointing that even the top cards around can't max all games out.

Fact is you can achieve 1080p 60fps solid with little to no dips all while running the game at a higher graphical level than console on pc. That is all that matters.
