The reason most don't see much of a difference is because XB1 upscaler is incredible. Games will looks similiar, it's the performance and fps that is the biggest issue on the XB1 from what I can see. Not a huge deal for me since I can easily get whichever better version there is on PC or PS4. I'd still wait 1-2 yrs and see if anything improves on these consoles. It's stupid to write them off after just 3 months, when the last two previous generations saw significant improvements in their games after 3+ years.

I agree with the sentiment shared here, but let's not forget how we got to where we are. XBots spent the past decade pointing out Every Single inferior multiplat to the Sony Brigade over the previous couple gens. I'm not pointing out you necessarily as a participant in all of that, but you've been around more than long enough to know it's true. Unless you're claiming you spent equal focus admonishing MS loyalists over their previous gloating, I'm not sure its time to look down on "Cows" or hold "Lemminng" behavior up for all to behold. ;P

My guess? In the next few months we're going to see devs get a better handle on XBone architecture (and some better drivers and tools) and we won't be seeing these huge resolution disparities so much. That should quiet a lot of this silliness down, though the specs aren't ever going to magically line up.

Actually many cows claimed to see little difference in the multiplats last gen. So, now there really was? Seems to me if there was little difference for cows and therefore didn't care, it should be not very big difference and lems need not care. This whole thing is role reversal, that's all. Play games, folks.

Cows who didn't see differences last gen in multiplats are as blind as lems this gen thinking resolution does not make a difference, it is no excuse for MS to have a 100$ more machine by telling me it's immersive and I can Skype (big whoop can do that everywhere else also) are not selling points for me to pick up a 100$ more inferior machine, I am saying that MS should have put the price down cut Kinect as most devs hate Kinect, or they will not see growth this gen.

With me in mind? I'm not the only person who hates Kinect, devs hate it and it's a total tack on, and many others have shared how it doesn't always work as well and is a completely useless peripheral! Basically MS made you pay 100$ more for an inferior console with a camera that has great potential outside of gaming and will probably never be utilized at all and you got fed into their game lol, MS has a chance this gen but right now there is no reason for me to own an Xbone maybe down the road but not right now.

If devs can create a situation where XB1 games are 900p and PS4 games are 1080p (for the most part), then I don't see too much of a problem for Microsoft. However, if we keep seeing the 720/1080 divides, then they have a very serious problem.

as most things in life, its all subjective. So if I got fed into MS' whatever because I'm getting an X1, did I get fed into sony's when I buy a ps4? I have one reason to get an X1 before a PS4. There isn't much I want to play on PS4 now. What other reason would I buy a console for?
