Outside of graphics, I'm just not a fan of Crytek games. Their games look amazing though. If it turns out well, I'll check it out. As for now, I'll just look at the pretty pictures.

Don't count your chickens mate, remember not only is it on PS4, it's also on VR. It's either going to have a massive downgrade to get the frame rates up or it's going to be a nausea inducing slide show.

Something else to remember, most of Crytek's best talent and engineers are now at Foundry 42: Frankfurt making Star Citizen.

LOL Crytec betting on Sony VR that nobody have seen in action except some expos, and ignoring the future market leader Oculus Rift. How many Sony VR sets will be sold? Uncharted 4 looks better.

ND always downgrades their games. There are plenty of comparisons out there. All of their games looked outdated compared to some other heavy hitters like Crysis, Battlefield 3 and Witcher 2 etc; Blurry textures, pre-rendered (but still blurry) cutscenes, sub HD resolution, jaggies and so on.

It really is. They went from making Far Cry, which has the best FPS campaign that I have ever played, to this. Every game they make is worse than the one that came before it.

Now this game has even less gameplay than Ryse (which had less gameplay than Crysis). Crytek went downhill... I think the pretty graphics went to their heads.

I'll be keeping my eyes on this since I love dinosaurs. Crytek suck at making games but they do know how to make good graphics. It seems they've finally found their calling with VR.

I've never been impressed with any of their games graphically. Their games are unoptimized with a lot of rough edges, and Crysis 2 onward really abuse post processing.
